Do users struggle with Windows 8 Metro Design ?
Do you think users struggle with the new feature of Windows 8 Metro Design. Yes, there are many who are struggling with this new App. So read this article to understand more about Windows 8 Metro App.
Now that Microsoft has officially announced the release date of its much anticipated product, Windows 8, people are eagerly waiting to get their hands on it. Microsoft is eager to show off its flagship product to the world and to show what Windows 8 can do and what effects can it generate on generation next.
Now that the Windows 8 Previews have hit the market, we can see floods of reviews about the working or design of Windows 8. The world's largest software company has stated that millions of people are already using the downloaded pre-release versions of Windows 8 on their desktops and laptops.
Microsoft has designed Windows 8 keeping in mind the growing market of touch-enabled devices like tablets, smartphones, etc. It is planning to take over Apple's all conquering iPads. This thing hampers many users who are quite habituated with the conventional style of using a mouse and a keyboard rather than a hand's stroke.
Till now, Windows 8 has mostly recieved positive reviews, reviewers have praised the looks, design and the feel of the touch-friendly Metro style user interface. The Metro style user interface is based on colorful squares or the so-called "tiles", that depicts applications and programs like e-mails and other such real time updates.
One side, there are people giving it positive reviews and praising its design and looks, on the other hand, there are people who are getting confused with the design. For them, it will be much difficult to move on from something they have been using for years now. It will be a completely new experience for them.
There is one shortcoming of the Metro Style Windows 8
The latest version has not finished yet and as far as I know, no one has even tested Windows 8 on a tablet that is powered by ultra-efficient ARM chips. There are quite a few rumours that Microsoft is planning to introduce a tablet under its own brand name running Windows 8. But the fact is that, Microsoft has not persuaded some of its most loyal users for now.
Microsoft has taken a very crucial move by developing a product which is completely different from its predecessors. The Metro based UI looked great when it came for Windows Phone but introducing the same feature in computers and tablets is a crucial bargain. I don't know what Micorsoft has in mind but whatever it is we will enjoy it. We can also say that by launching Windows 8 in a Metro style, Microsoft is eyeing the potential buyers of touch-based tablets like iPad.
Seeing on the mixed reviews, one thing is clear that Windows 8 is not going to be an instant hit among the users worldwide like how it did when Windows 7 was launched. Windows 7 became an instant hit and has now sold more than 500 copies, if we don't count the unofficial downloads, beating the all-time successful Windows XP.
Whatever it may be, we are the users who make Microsoft a company. If we are not going to use its products then who will? So don't worry, even if you are not satisfied with Windows 8 as in the future it will be upgraded. And if you don't like the Metro UI, you can always switch back to the traditional look.

"Windows 7 became an instant hit an has now sold more than 500 copies"
True, but inaccurate.
