Cyberpunk 2077: Is this game going to be worth our time?
Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be a huge game when it finally arrives in the market, but is it going to be anything like the Witcher series has to offer? Let's find out more about this game.
Introduction
The Witcher game is obviously going to be really dour, grim and will be putting us in predicaments with so many unsettling ramifications. We will be compelled to dwell over making choices. You know it's going to happen when the game is finally going to launch in February 2015. But here is the thing; there is another game coming in 2015, which is developed by the same developer who is currently hoarding the Witcher 3 ship. So how come they are doing all of these games simultaneously?
Well, it seems that the studio is divided into two major groups, the first one is involved in making the watcher 3 game obviously and the second one is honing in on Cyberpunk 2077, a futuristic RPG where the things are not what they seem. If you have played CD Project Red's games, you know what to expect from the title, but if you haven't I suggest that you should really start with The Witcher 1, their very first game. Granted, it's not an open-world game like the successor was, but it's going to give you every bang for your buck. In other words, it's totally worth your time and will also give you an idea about how deep CD Project's game runs into veins. It's just so much intricate with a lot of thing going on in the game at the same time. You might as well get confused if you are newcomer and ponder about quitting the game altogether.
Learning the game's mechanics can be a real pain, but once you get the hang off the game, it's really easy to do things from there. You are never going to be asked about anything else. Be wary though, they are not going to hold your hands throughout the game. You will have to look out for yourself. If you are stuck, you can't rely on the game guide. You'll have to find the way on your own as no cheats apparently work on that game. So many people say that it' really a hard game to play, but trust me, it's not that hard if you are willing to invest some time in the game and comprehend its core mechanics. It might take you an hour or two initially, but at the end of the day, you'll emerge victorious if you are persistent enough. So just don't give up on the game if you want to have the fun later on. Rest of the game will be a breeze for you if you pass the initial test.
Developed by Cd project
Cyberpunk 20177, as I already told you, is being developed by the masters of RPG themselves – CD Project Red. This name needs no introduction as they have already made more than a name for themselves in the gaming industry. You can almost bet that they have got an ace in their hands. It just has to work. There is no way that it's going to suck when it finally launches. So if you are pondering about pre-ordering this game, you shouldn't be worried about it and go ahead.
Might have been delayed
While the Witcher 3 development has been great and all, I presume that it has also eaten up most of the development time of other games they were developing at that time, including Cyberpunk 2077. The pressure of delivering on Witcher 3 is so huge is that they had to cut staff from other games to help them with The Witcher 3 game development. They don't want to leave any knots untied. If they fail to deliver, they are going to have to pay a huge price for it. Failure here would mean the end of the studio, the liquidation of the company. Here is no doubt about that. And they know that it's a possibility so they are going to do all it takes to deliver a perfect game. Now it depends on us as to how we receive the game when it finally launches in the market, but my assumption is that it's going to be received well. Heck, any game that CD Project Red does, is received very positively in the market.
