Facebook game: Shadow fighter review

This article is a game on review of Shadow Fight on Facebook. Read on to know how to play this game along wit the tips and tricks to play Shadow Fight on Facebook. Know why this fight game is better than any other fight game on Facebook and what all it has in store for you

Yes, yes ,yes! Call me over excited if you will but this a dream comes true for me. I was not so excited since I played my first fighting game Tekken back in 90's. And it is not because there is something extra-ordinary in Nekki's Shadow Fight (much of its charm and attraction are because of its near perfect mimicry of famous fighters) but because this is the first game on Google plus which actually lets you fight. If you are new to games on Facebook then you should know that in any other game on Facebook you cannot actually control the movements of a fighter in the game. You only give command of fighting and they fight using weapons like swords or some explosive weapons. At most there is turn based attacks but that is where it used to stop. But no more, Shadow Fight is martial arts based Facebook game which lets you control every movement of the fighter like in Tekken and this makes it worthy of praise. This quality alone makes it distinguishable from other games but moreover the unexpected sharpness of the game and he complexity involved in the game makes it one of the finest games not only in its class but against all other Facebook games.
Shadow Fighter
As the name of the game suggests the fighters are shadowy ninjas who combat with 25 available moves. The fighters shown from the background of Japanese shoji screen completes the feel of a ninja fight and that is the reason of "Shadow" in the name. The 25 moves are not available at once but you need to earn "dan" for that which is sort of a bonus after winning each fight. The matches much like "Street fighter" are won by winning two fights. At some instances you also get to fight the bosses. As you go one collecting more credits by winning fights (or by buying credits on Facebook through cash) you can purchase weapons like nanchaku or swords which can be used in specialized tournaments. And this is not all, you will also get some finishing moves like the la Mortal Kombat as you progress.

Sadly, there is only one thing where Shadow fight falls short of expectations and that is player to player fight. Following the Google plus tradition there are only fights with the AI rather than an actual living opponent. However I need to mention that it does come near to that. To initiate a friendly duel with your friend you need to choose with which friend you wish to battle with and the battle begins with your friend's photo in the health bar. If you win you can challenge them to take "revenge" but even then you are limited to fighting with your friends avatar who at best has your friends weapons and moves that he has amassed through leveling. Even for tournaments all you get is to fight with random profiles from across the globe which will have the same leveling as the player they are representing. The only way for two actual players to play is the two player mode like in Tekken where you share the same keyboard. And for that know the fights we all have had regarding who got the better positioning.

On the whole the game is quite enjoyable and the AI is too quite intelligent but as it is with all AIs, there is always a simple way to pin them down and defeat them without getting hit even once. On the technical front you get the same life power and bonus along with special unlockable weapons in Shadow fight on Google plus. Interface and gameplay are smooth and the visuals and fight moves believable and the discreet but aesthetic presentation makes it much better than its flashier competitions. Shadow fight is a fantastic game and gives the fight game lovers a good option on Facebook.
