The Walking Dead Season 2 game review and cheats, tips and tricks to play

Are you looking for Walking Dead Season 2 review? Just played the first episode and ready to churn through the second one as well? Before you get your hands on the game, though, you should definitely check out this review.

Introduction

Wow! I am really amazed. After the slow built-up in episode 1, a great build-up and pace was what was desperately needed in season 2. And guess what, this is what really happened as season 2 was every bit of gripping and engrossing as you'd expect. You don't need to worry about my review though as I will stay away from unraveling any major plot details and spoiling it for you. Nope, I am not going to do that. It will just be a waste of my review if I do that. So fret not and read on as none of this is going to happen.

It's every bit of grim, dark and littering with predicaments as I could have imagined. These are the type of games we keep mumbling about as to who we saved, who we killed, who we lied to and who we are falling in love with. Seriously, if you let yourself loose for even just a bit and not pay attention to the dialogs, things will go awry in no time. Your companions will start hating you if you'll not converse in the right way with them. You'll have to be vigilant in your every step.

Clem's season

If the season 1 was about Lee's adventure, season 2 is all about Clem as she is the major protagonist now. Remember her from season 1? She was just a little kid back than not knowing anything about this world littered with zombies. It was Lee who protected her all the way through. He even sacrificed his life for the sake of her safety and made sure she is escorted from city before he dies.

Now that 11 months has passed since all the events that took place in season 1, she is more old and mature to understand the world and how to survive in it. Heck, now she even knows how to get rid of the zombie by shooting them in head.

She has definitely become a predator and is tougher than she looks. The guy that messed up with her ended up being in gutter as she shot her 3 times before even thinking twice about it. And she knows what she has become. She doesn't regret it one bit. In fact, she enjoys it and thinks it's a blessing that she is still alive and most of her companions, who were much older than her, could never live to see another day.

What she is forgetting, though, is Lee's sacrifice. She doesn't remember at what lengths he had to go to make sure Clem survives. As I mentioned that's the reason why Lee is dead. But she took all of it for granted and thinks that Lee did all this because he owed her. Look what she did to her best friend. What did that poor girl do to her to deserve this? She never would have expected this.

It goes without saying that Clem is an antihero now. She doesn't care who survives and who dies. All she cares about is she. But even for all her meanness, there is something about her that makes you root for her passionately and not want her to die. That's because Telltelle has deliberately made her like that. She is despicable, but you wouldn't want her to die.

Walking Dead

A family divided

It has not been long since Clem has been entered into the family. But the opinion about her in the family is, well, kind of, divisive. Some of the family members are in favor of keeping her alive and believe her word. They believe that Clem is indeed not bitten by a walker and it's a natural wound. They think that she is gonna be better again.

But god only knows if she will be better or worse. What we know that she was indeed bitten by someone. Now, who was it? What was its purpose? It is gonna put Clem in harm's way? Id she gonna die or better? Well, that's what this episode answers. As I stated, though, I am not going to spoil anything for you. So the rest of the story is for you to find out. For now, the only thing you need to know is Clem is not what she pretends to be. Well, what if she is not Clem and someone else has embodied her? It could be possible given the surrealist of the game is at its peak height.

Presume what you want to, because they aren't answering anything without a hell of a cliffhanger. Obviously, it will be one of the main ingredients of the game finale episode. We already have one of the most riveting implosion drawing near us between the family. Hmm, they might as well kill each other, because they have to do whatever it takes to survive.

Death around every corner

Death and Walking Dead games have always had a good relationship. Granted, there haven't been a lot of deaths yet, but given that we are drawing closer towards the Games' finale, it's almost a certainty that deaths will occur. The characters we love the most will have to die. But don't worry though; you'll have full control over choosing whom to save and whom to left to rot. It's not as easy as it sounds on paper though.

The Walking Dead developers have a great habit of throwing you into muddling predicaments and awkward situations where you just don't know what to do anymore. Saving or letting someone die isn't easy because they are somehow related to you. Yeah, that's how they made this game.

You are going to like the characters of it and just when you begin to care about them, they'll choose the most excruciating way to bring death upon them. Death occurs and it transpires all of a sudden. I mean, they all know that they'll be dead sooner or later, but they don't know when. That's one of the most captivating premises of this game. They make you feel like you are in the control of situation, but you are not really. Whomever you may choose to save, they are all going to die, eventually. So, it's more like running away from a thing you know you can't.

If you are going to get your hands on it, brace yourself for some tough decisions to make and keep your issue paper with you. It's gonna come in handy when tears will pour down your eyes.

If you liked this review, you should check out another one of the game's episode. Have you played the episode 'After'. Should check out my review of The Walking Dead: After , if you are still on fence about that game.
