Scramble with Friends sounds like the above game but is very different. It gives a 4X4 grid of jumbled letters and the player has to make words out of them. Just like the physical board game, the player can move the words up, down, left or right to make the words. You can play it with your friends via Facebook. There is a time limit in this game. So, you have to form more number of words than your opponent within a time frame. The game finishes in just 6 minutes. There are three two minute rounds and only the best players proceed.

This game is a mix of Tetris and Letters. The letters keep falling from the top of the screen and you have to slot the fallen words to make a word. Once a word is formed, the row moves down and you have to make another word. If you reject a fallen letter, it will be passed on to your opponent and he may get an advantage. Enable the word matrix mode to take your own time in forming the words. You have to make long words and acronyms. If you enable the plain vanilla mode, the time limit with be small and the game will be quicker & exciting. The game is quite engaging. Via in-app purchases, you can get additional features and language options.

This is an Indian game with a very interesting storyline. The player is the hero who has to save this game. The story is that the game is set in the Alexandria library which has caught fire. Just by guessing the words, you will save the palm-leaf manuscripts. Letters are shown to you along with hints and you have to tell what the word means. There is a button on screen for additional hints. Even at the initial easy levels, you may want to press this button. The game has high English standards and you need to have real good vocabulary to win it. The levels start from 'Zameen' (Earth) and goes up to 'Acharya' (Master). The free version of this game can be downloaded from the Apple Store but it is limited to only two levels. The paid version has over 30000 words and costs Rs.55 only.
