Amazon offers 15% affiliate commission - best affiliate commission structure in India

This holiday season, Amazon India is offering the best affiliate commission in India for selling products from their eCommerce site. For all non-consumer electronic products, the commission is increased from 10% to 15% between 11 Dec, 2013 to 31 Dec, 2013. The special rates are applicable for 21 days during the holiday season.
Amazon Associates program sent out the below email to the affiliates this morning:
Typically, the Indian eCommerce sites have been offering extremely low commission to affiliate marketers. Flipkart has been offering 0.5% to 1% for many electronic products, which was significantly increased after Amazon India introduced their affiliate programs.

You can see from the comparison chart that Flipkart has increased commission rates to 4% for computers and mobile devices. At the same time, Amazon is offering 5% commission for electronics and 10% for all other products, which is further increased to 15% for the holiday season.
With this attractive special commission offered to affiliate marketers, Amazon is expected to grab a good share of the holiday sales from Flipkart.
