The very first model of the Lumia series,Lumia 800 was targeted for high end smartphone users and was complimented by the 710 which did remarkably good as a midrange/semi-entry level smartphone. After the immense popularity and success of these,Nokia Lumia 900 hit the market as a high end smartphone.Closely followed by the 610 which was again an entry level phone.Lumia 900 was visibly large and loaded with apps and other interactive components.

During September 2012, Nokia announced its first Windows Phone 8 devices.Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 with all the goodness of a dual-core processor, wireless charger and a 4G ready network component. These phones were put against the likes of Google Nexus 7,iPhone 5 and HTC and Samsung's flagship Galaxy series.Over a period of time Lumia has created its own cult and fan base.The 920 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC , 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait CPU,1GB RAM and 32GB Flash memory and carries the tagline of "The world's most innovative smartphone".
820 is another potential phone sporting similar processor and SoC as the 920. It features 8GB internal storage and MicroSD support upto 64GB.Its display is an incredible 4.3" AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen with Super Sensitive Touch and clicks with a 8.0 Megapixel,Dual-LED Flash. All these features give the 820 a really competitive edge just like its bigger sibling the 920.
