HTC One features a brilliant 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 offering full HD display which is large enough to deliver pixel density of 469 ppi. The 5-inch Super AMOLED screen of Galaxy S4 gives a pixel density of 441 ppi, which is slightly less compared to that of HTC One. In the field of screen resolution both the devices offers full HD display along with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
Hardware and Storage
Galaxy S4 is powered by Exynos Octa-core chipset coupled with a 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 as GPU. The octa-core of S4 clocks at 1.6 GHz quad-core as well as a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. This makes the device an octa-core product. While on the other hand HTC One is being powered with a quad-core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset and clocks at a speed of 1.7 GHz. It too holds a 2GB of RAM along with Adreno 320 as GPU.
In the field of storage, HTC One comes in two variants; 32/64 GB, whereas S4 features options for 16/32/64GB. But HTC One has not given any option for storage expandability and users have to be satisfied with what the device offers to them on-board. This makes Galaxy S4 to dominate in this field as it give more expandability option for its users via microSD slot. Camera and Battery
Both the devices are equipped with a powerful camera capable of shooting videos at 1080p. While comparing the resolution of each camera, the one that is equipped in HTC One has got only 4 MP with autofocus and LED flash. Whereas a 13MP camera is there on Galaxy S4 along with a 2MP front facing camera. But the 2.1MP front camera of HTC One is slightly better when compared to that of S4, whereas the additional features included in camera app makes the Galaxy S4 dominant in this field too.
While talking about the battery, a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery is powering Galaxy S4 which is expected to give a lot of high performing hours to the users. In the case of HTC One, we can see a non-removable Li-Po 2300mAh battery under the hood which is nearly equal to that of S4.
