For all the book lovers, GOOGLE PLAY has introduced PLAY BOOKS. Now you can enjoy reading your favourite books on your phone or tablets. The app is good and you can download books from Google play and read it on your play book app. Google play store has a good collection of books to choose. The paid books start at Rs.100 and those who don't want to spend on eBooks can try the free book which is also available in the play store. Let's have a look at the play books app and see how it works.

The user interface is smooth and easy to use, home page shows the book which you have downloaded in a list view and gives you a carousel view. It also gives an option to search books and to browse from different categories. When you find a book, all you have to do is to click on the read button and the book will be downloaded on to your device.

The display options are good, you can choose the theme Day, Night which is common with all the e-reader apps in the market but play books have a sepia theme which gives a really nice reading experience. You can also change the font, alignment, font size, line, height etc.

Read loud is another interesting feature available with this app. But most of the people will prefer reading a book, still if you wish to listen to the book you have a feature available within the app. You can turn the page by sliding just like you turn the page of a book and you can also use the volume up and down key to go to the previous or next page. The animation is best in its class.
