I did my RHCE certification exam on January 2013. Results will be published on the same day of your exam. You have to write RHCSA and RHCE on the same day. My exam started at 10:00 AM and completed by 3:00 PM. After completing my exam I felt that I did my RHCE well and RHCSA worst. I discussed my exam performance with my trainer. Then I left to my home. I checked my result at 1:00 AM (night), I felt happy when I saw that I passed in RHCSA but I was shocked to see that I failed in RHCE. The mail I got is,
"The results of your EX300 Exam are reported below.
Passing score for the exam: 210.0
Your score: 208
Result: NO PASS
You did not pass the EX300 Exam on this attempt. We hope that you will attempt the exam again after further practice and preparation."
I wrote the exam for the second time on February 2013. Unfortunately I failed in my second attempt too. I scored 208 marks and failed by just two marks. On that day I felt very sad and searched as "RHCE fail" in Google.Common mistakes in RHCE exam
Usually everyone will repeat a common mistake in this exam. Here I have given some common mistakes in RHCE which were said by my trainee and also according to my own experience.
1. Don't forget to reboot after completing all your questions.
2. Don't forget to run "chkconfig on" and "service start" command.
3. Do only what is given in the question. Don't act smart and do extra things.
4. Try to complete a question in single attempt.
5. Reboot wherever necessary.
6. Spend more time on guidelines.
I passed RHCE and RHCSA when I was 14 years old. I am from Kottayam, Kerala. I had a score of about 280. I did my RHCVA last June when I was 16 years old. I got 300/300.
