Avinash Mishra
You have been a well known blogger and an inspiration to many other new bloggers. Can you please tell us about yourself?

Firstly I'd like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to tell about myself. I am Avinash Mishra from Patna (Bihar), currently pursuing B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication from Jaipur (Rajasthan). I started my blogging career with my first blog, where I share information on Blogging Tips, SEO, Social Media, Internet Marketing, Gadgets and Technology, Network & Security and other Technical stuff including various Tips & Tricks.

How old are you? How many years have you been blogging? How many blogs do you have? Do your family members help you in blogging?

I am 21 Years old. I'll complete my one year of Blogging journey in April 2013. is my first blog and reflects my brand in Blogosphere, I've many micro niche sites. Of course, my family members support me; without their blessings, I can't turn a single stone in my path to success. So, the blessings of my family members really motivate me.

How did you come to know about blogging? How was your beginning in the blogging? Tell us about your first blog

I entered into blogging unintentionally. I never intended to launch a blog and make money through it. Yes, I am good in writing since childhood and my passion for writing binds me with blogging.

I always wanted to be independent and tried to take as less money as possible from my parents. One day, one of my good friends met me and asked me to join MLM by paying INR 10,000; you can understand it is very hard to pay INR 10,000 for a student where there is no guarantee to get success. So, I discussed it with my senior (Himanshu Sir) - He was already making huge money with Internet Marketing. He just ignited a spark in me by explaining about blogging. Now, I am going to complete my one year journey in blogging with and I really feel that I am making noise in this blogosphere.

What makes your blog interesting to your current readers/ What made your blog popular?

People visit blogs for the sake of quality information and satisfies these aspects and absolutely because, we provide latest and helpful information on general topics. For example, in India, Social Networking sites are blocked in colleges and I share tips to access those sites with colleges' Wi-Fi connection and I am getting huge organic visitors for this content especially. There are various examples similar as above that make us unique among readers.

What is your background in the niche you are blogging/ Are you a technical person/ why did you choose this niche? is completely tech blog and I share information on technical topics and some money making tips. My background is fully technical as I am an Engineering student so I was interested to launch a tech blog.

What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies/ Which websites you browse regularly/ What is your source of up to date knowledge

I prepare weekly routine for blogging that includes some research work too. I used to visit some blogs for new blog post ideas as well as for the sake of learning new things, these blogs are -

What are the technology websites and blogs you are associated with/ How many blogs you have/ do you write articles in other sites

I write articles on other sites as a guest blogger. In my network, I am successfully running 6 blogs right now.

What do you do when you are not building software or contributing in technical websites and blogs?

When I don't contribute to blogs, it simply means that I take rest, spend time on my other activities like Painting, Social Work, Watching Movies, Gossip with friends, Documentary Film Making, etc.

How is your daily schedule/how many hours you work in your blog

It is very difficult for me to manage my time. I wake up at 5:00 AM then I go to GYM, get ready for college and return at 4 PM and then I give time to my blogs till 8 PM. After 8 PM, I work on my college assignment and the cycle goes on. In holidays, I work for 7 to 8 hours on my blogs. On an average, I give 20 hours in a week on my blogs.

Which webmaster/ blogger is your role model? Which sites/ blogs you like to follow?

I learned from each and everyone in this blogosphere, either He/She is Biggies or Newbies, but didn't find my GURU yet.

Who are the top 5 technical experts/ bloggers in your network? Can you mention the names of the big bloggers in your friends list/ network?

Firstly, I'd like to take name of my senior (who introduced me in blogging). If we conduct survey then he might be among top 10 biggies from India on the basis of earnings. Further, I can't mention particular names because I think all my friends are good in blogging and they are doing wonders.

What do you think about the future of blogging? Do you think it will continue to be a profitable business in the long run?

In my view, Blogging is another corporate world where you are everything, either as a boss or an employee. In India, Future of Blogging is very bright- we see 16 or 17 years old kids take their chance in blogging. In next 5 years, among 5 professional people- there will be 2 bloggers among them.

What are your future plans/ Are you planning to be a fulltime blogger/ Any other online business you plan to start

I dream to launch a big online marketplace. Still working hard to make my dream come true. Blogging for full time career is not a bad choice.

Do you like to share your earnings/ how much you make from your blogs/ which are your highest earning blogs/ what are the sources of income? (list the monthly income in each site from each source, if ready to disclose)

Are you from Income Tax! (Just Kidding)

I don't believe in sharing revenue like this way. But, I keep capability to buy a four wheeler. 

Do you use affiliate marketing to earn revenue? What is your advice to others on affiliate marketing?

I use affiliate marketing to make some money (after all AFFILIATE MARKETING is the backbone of INTERNET MARKETING). The best thing to earn money from affiliate marketing is to teach newbies and help them as much you can; at the end, they will ask you to launch a blog then use your hosting affiliate link to buy hosting for them.

Which source of revenue you suggest as an alternative to Google AdSense?

There are so many Alternatives of Google AdSense, such as Infolinks, Chitika, Clicksor, etc.

Which are the online social communities you are most active on.
I am very much active on Facebook then on Google Plus then Twitter and lastly on LinkedIn.

Most big bloggers have reported that their revenue has been coming down in last few years due to high competition. How is your earnings in last few years? Are they growing? How is your traffic growing?

As I'll complete my one year journey of blogging in coming month so I didn't face such kind of variation yet. Still, I got improvement in everything like traffic, money, reputation, global visibility, etc.

How did blogging help you personally other than making money?
First and foremost thing that blogging helped me to improve is my English then Creativity, Communication skills and Interactive power. Overall, I became good learner by adopting Blogging in my life and Good learner can do everything, even miracles.

What does your family think about your blogs?
As I am an Engineering student, my Mom always urges me to study because she thinks that I do time-pass on Facebook, but the fact is- we bloggers can't survive without Facebook.

What do you think about the Panda and Penguin updates from Google? Did your blogs get affected by it? What advice you give to other bloggers to avoid Panda/ Penguin penalties?

As we know Internet is full of spam and to overcome spam content on Internet; Google announced its algorithms as PANDA and PENGUIN. These two wild animals (algorithm for Google) tried to clear spams from Internet and helped users to access unique and authentic content. Panda only passes those sites which have unique content and Penguin banned those sites that believe in over search engine optimization. In this situation, I'll recommend to write quality and unique content without any error. Don't use keywords more than 2% of the complete length of the content. Also, don't participate in illegal mutual link sharing practices.

What do you think about the future of SEO?

SEO is alive and it'll never end. Without SEO, Websites look like a body without soul and to survive in this Internet World, we need SEO.

What you advice - focus on a single site or create several sites in various niche?

Practically speaking, you can't survive with a single site, it is better to launch several sites or various niche sites. Before launching niche site, keep everything as per EMD update.

I have seen in many online blogger communities, many bloggers sharing insulting information about other prominent bloggers. What is your take on such unhealthy practices?

We should ban such practices that encourage these kinds of activities. By the way, it depends on mental level of person as to how he/ she observes things.

Which technology company you like the most - Microsoft/ Google/ Apple? And why? Which company you think will be doing best after 5 years from now?

All these companies are my favorite. But in near future, Microsoft will be leading venture than other two companies.
