Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo Duos GT-S5310 and GT –S5312 full phone specifications, features and price in India are given as follows. As announced at Samsung forum event held in South Africa, the Galaxy Pocket Neo runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Expected to get released in the second week of May, this smartphone will be Samsung's entry level smartphone after Samsung Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Young.
After the successful launch of Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Young, Samsung is gearing up to introduce yet another affordable smartphone in the market. Dubbed as Galaxy Pocket Neo, this device would come in two variants; a single SIM and DUOS variant bearing the model number GT-S5310 and GT-S5312. Announced at Samsung forum event held in South Africa, the Galaxy Pocket Neo is expected to reach stores in the second week of May.
Many budget Android smartphones including Sony Tipo had been running successfully which have motivated Samsung to follow the same path with the introduction of Pocket Neo. As budget smartphones are in high demand, Samsung would be looking forward to keep their new product live in Asian and African markets.

The dual-SIM support Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo spots a 3.0 inch capacitive QVGA touchscreen with 240×320 resolution. Powered by an 850 MHz ARM Cortex A9 processor and 512 MB of RAM, the phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Regarding the internal storage, 4GB memory would be a companion to store photos and videos.

For connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0 and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA can be used to transfer data. A 2MP camera which can deliver sharp clarity photos has been mounted on the phone. The Galaxy Pocket Neo will be the 4th inexpensive smartphone from Samsung along with Galaxy Young, Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Star.

Samsung would replace the Galaxy Pocket with Pocket Neo and launch in the Indian market in May 2013. Expected to get priced below Rs 6,500; the phone would be a perfect device for those who wish to own a device which comes under an affordable price.
