Some of the world's most renowned brands like ThinkPad notebook, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, ThinkServer, IdeaCentre and IdeaPad are now associated with the name of the company called Lenovo.
Lenovo can be proud of having a multicultural team of dedicated workers which became possible when the Legend Holdings which was founded in 1984 in China began marketing its products under the brand name of Lenovo in 2003 and acquiring the IBM's PC division, a US based company by Lenovo Group in 2005. The Legend Holdings became a new legend with its new name Lenovo. The 'Le' stands for Legend and 'novo' means new in Latin. The eastern and western manufacturers of PCs joined hands giving the birth to the company. The global presence is now felt in about 60 countries in six continents. The diverse nature of the multi-national and multi-lingual workforce of Lenovo coming from the east and west gives it a source of strength making it one of the most cohesive next generation companies. As per the logo of the company which talks of a new world and new thinking, the company designs innovative and exciting products and services at affordable prices for its customers.
