Apple TV features and price in India

Apple is all set to launch Apple TV in India. It will be available in India for a price of Rs.8,295. The product and its specifications have been announced on Apple India website. Apple TV is a media streamer that allows its users to play media contents from various popular services like Netflix, Hulu plus, you tube, etc. It also allows users to purchase or rent music and movies from Apple's ITunes store. It can stream videos, play slideshow of images, music etc on various devices like TV, iPhone, iPad, MAC, PC, etc.

Apple TV is so small in size that you can hold it in your palm. You will also get a small aluminum remote control with it. It has been provided with an HDMI port through which it can be connected to your TV. It can play 1080p HD videos on your TV. It also uses wireless technology through which you can play video on your TV, PC, etc just by connecting through a Wi-fi network; and that's not all but much more to it. Apple TV uses Airplay that allows you to play your own created or locally stored media content. That means you can also play your own videos, images, music, etc.
