During the last part of 2012, Nokia has partnered with Monster to work on headphones which are specially meant for their smartphones. The Nokia Purity stereo headset WH-920 is an in-ear device made by Monster for Nokia. The Nokia Purity stereo headset's audio technology is undertaken by Monster, and the design is inspired from Nokia's exciting products. Nokia has changed their old technology and design to a new level by partnering with Monster and launching this headset.

The Nokia Purity stereo headset comes in four colors - black, white, cyan and fuchsia. This headset comes with a microphone on the left side of the earplug cord. The headset Y design meets at a point, and then connects to a remote control with volume control and a clickable center button. This center button can be used for making calls and attending calls. Nokia used Monster's thin flat cable which is tangle resistant. So now you don't have to spend time for clearing the tangles. The earplug carries the Monster logo on the outside and L/R marking on the inside. The headset comes in a big and nice box which is a Hard Shell carrying case, which includes the Purity headset, a Nokia AV adapter, five pairs of different sized ear buds and a 1 year warranty card. Almost every product from Nokia only supports 6 months warranty but this headset comes with 1 year warranty, which shows Nokia has given it a special tag.

The Purity stereo earphone is a great product from Nokia for the users. This headset works great while you're sitting or when you are doing nothing. These headsets tend to drop out from the ears when we walk or run and you have to keep pushing them into the ear whenever it drops out. The center remote control works easily with several compatible devices. This headset will also work on Android smartphones, even if Nokia has designed it for Symbian and Windows smartphones.. The earplug shell is constructed with strong and light weight plastic, which doesn't get scratches or cracks even if it falls from a considerable height. Some phones don't support this headset. In such cases you have to use the Nokia AV adapter which is provided along with the headset. But when the AV adapter is used the microphone and the remote control on the headset become unusable.
