Lenovo A2107 Android Tablet Review | Price and Features

Lenovo A2107 tablet has Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Let us take a quick look at the specifications of this tablet.

Lenovo, the largest PC maker in India performed exceptionally well last year through the smart innovations introduced in most of its releases. Through its well-planned and strategic execution, Lenovo managed to grab the top position in all the three quarters of 2012. The brand is now set to explore the intricacies of the world class technology by flexibly adapting it in its latest release, Lenovo A2107 tablet.
Lenovo A2107 tablet
Lenovo A2107 tablet is a 7 inch portable tablet and looks very comfortable to be held with. Most of the 7 inch tablets are proved to the best in terms of both weight and comfortability. The device is light weighted around 400 grams and could be held in our palm comfortably without leaving room for frequent drops.

The Lenovo A2107 tablet looks very stylish with its soft-matte finish in the front. The design and size makes it very easy for users to slip it in a jacket pocket or even a small handbag. Additionally, there is an internal roll cage provisioned which protects against any damage caused when dropped.

Under the hood, the device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with a dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1 GHz. The 1 GB RAM is good enough to ensure smooth running of technologically advanced applications. Few leaks suggest that the 1 GB RAM is available in Wi-Fi & 3G combined models whereas in a Wi-Fi only model a 512 RAM is expected to be provisioned.

Different variants of 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB will be available and all are expandable via microSD reader that absolutely worth applause. The reason why I specifically appreciated this fact is because most of the budget tablets come with a fixed internal storage without giving the privilege for expanding the memory and this becomes a major downfall while short listing the options. Fortunately, Lenovo has designed it in a smarter way when compared to the most efficient tablets flooding the market invariably.

Dual camera options are available here and the front camera is of 0.3 MP which is fair enough to capture good shots. The rear camera is of 2.0 MP and is capable of HD video playback at (720p). When it comes to connectivity all the options are available starting from 3G which is in-built, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 that utilizes less power consumption, A-GPS and microUSB support.

The OS and the Lenovo Mondrian interface makes it very simple for you to get all the information on your fingertips. The dual stereo speakers, access to thousands of applications via preloaded Google Play and the 10 second GPS location fix is an absolute effort for outperforming its other competitors.

Here is a quick rundown of the key specifications of the new Lenovo A2107 tablet.
