Karboon Mobiles, known for producing budget phones and tablets has unveiled a new tablet dubbed as 'Karbonn Tab 7 Tornado', adding one more to its existing Smart Tab series. As most of the customers keep an eye on low cost devices, Karbonn had tried their part to bring down the cost of the tablet with improved features.

Karbonn Smart Tab 7 Tornado spots a 7 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. With a 1.2 Ghz single core processor, the tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Even though the internal memory is unknown, a micro SD slot will give an additional 32GB storage support. Smart Tab 7 Tornado has a 2MP front facing camera for video calling but lacks a rear camera. For connectivity the device supports built-in Wi-Fi, USB port and external 3G support too. The Karbonn Smart Tab 7 can be purchased online from e-store Saholic for Rs 5,499. The major drawback of the tablet would be the lack of a rear camera, SIM card slot for voice calling etc. The tab comes preloaded with some popular apps and games including JustDial, Times of India, Economic Times, Saavn Music Streaming App, Ibibo, Hungama MyPlay and Angry Birds. With more domestic players in the market, Karbonn Smart Tab 7 has to compete with a number of other tablets to keep their presence alive. In October Karbonn Mobiles unveiled two tablets - Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 Marvel priced at Rs 5,990 and Rs 7,990 respectively.
The major competitors for Smart Tab 7 Tornado would be Micromax Funbook Infinity priced at Rs 5,999. While comparing the specs and price of Tornado with Infinity, the Infinity is having a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, micro SD card Wi-Fi, 3G and a 4,000 mAh battery. Funbook infinity would get advantage over Tornado as it comes along with a better processor and a 2MP rear camera.
I bought a tablet Smart Karbonn 7 sometime back and there are a lot of problems occurring with its memory. It is not working on its built in memory, whenever I click to mount internal SD storage, it just starts calculating all the stuff(images,videos,song etc) and then suddenly that option disappears.. Even my camera is also not working it shows the error 'media scanning, please wait.' Sir please help me out from this problem, Thank you.
