Nokia Lumia 505 is one of the newest releases from Nokia with some amazing features. It has the dimensions of 118.1 mm height, 61.2 mm width and 11.3 mm thickness. It weighs only 131 grams. It is quite a lot smaller than the other Lumia phones and with lesser weight. It is a 3G smartphone and will be available in January, 2013. The display features a AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and has 56K colors which is a disappointing feature from Nokia. Most smartphones are released with 16 M colors. Colors affect the quality of the display. Lumia 505 has a screen resolution of 480 pixels width and 800 pixels height. The resolution is good for a smartphones and this is the most common resolution for a smartphone. It supports a multi-touch facility and the screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a 252 ppi pixels density which makes for good display. This phone comes with a 4 GB internal memory and 256 MB RAM. It is a bit disappointing however. as it has no external card slot. It can store only 4 GB data and the Memory and RAM features are not enough for this smartphone. Most of them are released with a 1 GB or higher RAM facility. It has a 8 Mega Pixels primary camera on the rear side and no secondary camera on the front side. We can use this phone for video calling. It has video recording facilities up to VGA 30 fps. Nokia Lumia 505 runs on a Microsoft Windows Phone 7.8 operating system and has a 800 MHz processor. A disappointment is that they avoid the latest Windows 8 operating system for this smartphone. Sensors like Accelerometer and proximity are available. It uses a HTML5 web browser for better browsing a experience and also supports GPS and Radio facility. Just like other Windows smartphones the Lumia 505 does not support Java applications. Lumia 505 is available in Black, White, Red and Pink colors. Due to less storage space they provide a 7 GB free SkyDrive storage space for storing extra data. It uses a standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery for backup features which provides enough backup performance. The price of the Lumia 505 is predicted to be €166 and around Rs.12,000 in India.

Nokia Lumia 505 vs Nokia Lumia 510


It is the newly released smartphone from Nokia. It is a bit smaller and weighs lesser than the Nokia Lumia 505. It is one of the cheapest smartphone from the Lumia series. It has a TFT capacitive touch screen with 65K colors instead of a AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 56K colors. Screen resolution of the Lumia 510 is same as the Lumia 505 except for difference in pixels density. Memory features are the same as the Lumia 505. It uses a 5 Mega Pixels primary camera instead of a 8 Mega pixels as is the case in the Lumia 505. Phones run on the Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. It is an older windows phone operating system. This smartphone also features the same battery as the Lumia 505. The price of the Lumia 510 is predicted to be at €150 and around Rs.10,500 in India. The Lumia 505 price is slightly higher than the Lumia 510.

Nokia Lumia 620


It is another newest release from Nokia with the Lumia 505 for 2013. Nokia Lumia 620 will be available in January, 2013. It has the dimensions of 115.4 mm height, 61.1 mm width and 11 mm thickness. Also, it weighs only 127 grams. It is one of the lightest and smallest smartphone from Nokia. The display features a TFT capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. This phone has a resolutions of 480 pixels width and 800 pixels height. Also, it has a 246 ppi pixels density. It supports multi-touch facility and has a ClearBlack display facility. Also, it features with Dolby headphone sound enhancement for a better sound experience. This phone is comes with an 8 GB internal memory and 512 MB RAM. It's great for storing data. Hoever 512 MB is not enough for this smartphone as it keeps the device running slow. It supports external memory cards up to 64 GB. With this much space you can store a huge amount of videos, audios and applications through this smartphone. This phone has a 5 Mega Pixels primary camera on the rear side and a VGA camera on the front side of the smartphone for video calling facilities. This smartphone runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system and Qualcomm Snapdragon the S4 chipset is powered on it. It is a great feature from the Lumia 620. It is the latest operating system from Windows. This smartphone has a Dual-core 1 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 305 GPU for better performance and an exciting gaming experience. It usues HTML5 browsing facility and a GPS facility. It has no Radio facility. This smartphone is available in Lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black colors. It has a Standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery for backup performance. The price of the Nokia Lumia 620 is predicted to be €220 and around Rs.17,550 in India.

Nokia Lumia 620 vs Nokia Lumia 610


Lumia 610 has already been released and will be available in all countries. It is a bit heavier than the Lumia 620 but has the same touchscreen with lesser colors. This means that it has only 65K colors instead of the 16M colors in the Lumia 620. It has the same internal memory as the Lumia 620 but only features the 256 MB RAM and has no external memory support. The Primary camera is the same as the Lumia 620 and it has no secondary camera. This smartphone runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system and is powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset. It has a 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A5 processor and an Adreno 200 GPU for graphics performance. It supports HTML5, Radio and GPS facilities. This phone is available in White, Cyan, Magenta and Black colors. A Standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery is used for backup performance. The price of the Lumia 610 is predicted to be €160 and around Rs.11,400 in India.

Nokia Lumia 505 VS Nokia Lumia 620


These are the latest Lumia phones from Nokia with the best features. Nokia Lumia 620 is lighter than the Lumia 505 and will be available in an array of colors. Lumia 505 has only 56K colors instead of the 16M colors in the Lumia 620. AMOLED touchscreen is used in Lumia 505 instead of TFT capacitive touch screen in Lumia 620. There is no memory card facility and memory is half the RAM and internal memory of the Lumia 620. The Lumia 505 has a 8 Megapixel camera and no secondary camera. The Nokia Lumia 620 has a secondary camera and has only a 5 Mega pixels primary camera. Lumia 505 has no Windows phone 8 update till now. The Lumia 620 is available in Windows 8 phone operating system. Another major difference is the price. Price difference between these smartphones is Rs5000.
