Nokia was the top mobile manufacturing company in 2011 but now, Samsung is the top manufacturing company with 22.9 % of market share. This phone is lighter in weight as compared to other Windows smartphones. Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is used as touch interface with 16 million colors and has the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel has also got a 4.8 inch touch screen. It has got Corning Gorilla Glass-2 to protect the screen and multi-touch facilities like pinch zooming are also available. It has got the storage capacity of 16 GB or 32 GB and has 1 GB RAM. If you want to store huge amount of data,choose 32 or want less choose 16 GB if you do not need to store much data. The price is a big difference in both versions. It supports external memory cards up to 32 GB. It supports GSM, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, and WLAN, NFC and micro-USB facilities. It has an 8 GB primary camera on the rear side and a 1.9 GB secondary camera on the front side for capturing HD images with auto focus and LED flash facility. It has 1080@30fps video recording facility for HD video capturing and video calling facilities are also available. Samsung AtIV-S runs on Microsoft Windows Phone-8 operating system. HTC Windows Phone-8S is another upcoming Windows 8 phone from HTC. They have already released HTC Windows Phone-8X in market but 8S is cheaper than 8X. They are looking forward to recapturing market value through the wide release of HTC phones in the last quarter of 2012. This phone was announced on September, 2012 and will be available in November or December, 2012. It weighs only 113 gram. It is a less weight phone compared to other phones. S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1 million colors is used as its touch interface and better display and has the resolution of 480x800 pixels and a 4.0 inch touch screen. It has got Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the screen and multi-touch facilities are also available. It has an internal memory 4 GB with 1 GB RAM and supports external memory cards up to 32 GB. It also supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and Micro-USB facilities.The most disappointing feature of this phone is that it has no 'Near Field Communication' facility. It has a 5 Mega pixel primary camera with auto focus and LED flash and 720p@30fps video recording camera. There is no secondary camera and no video calling feature through secondary camera. It runs on Microsoft Windows Phone-8. Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 is used as chipset with Dual-core 1 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 305 GPU. All the above upcoming phones have same operating System, same chipset, same processor and same GPU except this phone. Standard Li-Po 1700 mAh battery is used for better battery backup in this phone.The Price of HTC Windows Phone 8S is 280 EURO and about Rs.19,600 in India.
Among the above phones, Samsung AtIV-S is the costliest upcoming Windows 8 phone and HTC Windows Phone-8S is the costless upcoming Windows 8 phone. My choice is Nokia Lumia 810. I prefer Nokia to all other brands.
