Along with Pyramid Run, LeTang in association with Mobappbox has released two games. One is Pyramid Run and the other is The Cloud Runner. I had reviewed Pyramid Run a little while ago and was sorely disappointed by it. However, I found The Cloud Runner a little if not much better.
Storyline of The Cloud Runner game
A boy faces an accident while trying to save a puppy. He goes to another world where the angel tells him that he can return back to earth on one condition- he has to collect pearls in this different world and after giving a number of pearls, the boy can go back to his normal life on earth. Nothing much to give you details about. The only control in The Cloud Runner game is jump, by tapping on the screen the character will jump and that's all you have to do to pass the obstacles in the path. The obstacles are free fall areas in between mountains similar to those of Mario and evil moving statues who are fixed on their position but are continuously moving their arms to stop you when you try to cross them. If you have experience of previous games like this then it is not much difficult to play this game, however, if you are new then you might face problem in timing your jumps but with a few tries you would easily get the hang of the game. There are 3 different world- Morning, Sunset and Night. The game starts with Morning after completing some levels you can unlock other worlds too. Overall there are a total of 27 levels in CloudRunner. You have the option to pause the game in between in case you would like a little break in between.
The game is light and smooth. Didn't face any issues during the game. Graphics are quite good and somewhat cute. Audio is simple and monotonous. The game is actually quite good timepass and little additive. Its simplicity of one only one control button makes it an ideal game during freetime.
