HTC Windows Phone 8X Design, Display and Specifications

The Windows Phone 8X is not the slimmest of phones at 10.6mm but the tapered edges create an illusion that makes it look much slimmer than it actually is. The phone weighs 130 grams and has dimensions of 132.4 x 66.2 x 10.1 mm. The phone has a Super LCD 2 display that is 4.3 inches. The 720p HD resolution and 16M colors ensure pleasant viewing. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

The polycarbonate chassis on the back of the phone makes it much more comfortable to hold when compared to phones that have a plastic back. The 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the top of the phone and is situated next to the power and lock keys. The micro SIM tray, the camera shutter and volume rocker switch are located on the right hand side of the phone. The advantage of having the camera switch is to capture images instantaneously. The micro USB slot is conveniently located on the base of the phone.

Located on the back of the phone is the 8 mega pixel camera that provides full HD video recording as well. The phone is also equipped with a 2.1 mega pixel camera on the front that enables video calling. HTC has managed to throw in an FM radio to boot.
