Boasting of 11.6-inches Full HD with 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) touch screen display, the Duo 11 tablet-laptop is a light weight 1.3 kg only and also features a stylus and a digitizer for handwriting support to customers. Running on Microsoft's upcoming flagship operating system, Sony hybrid tablet shows access to traditional desktop apps and modern UI/Metro and Windows 8 style appications via Windows store and designed to have variable hardware configuration options. The Sony machine can empower any of core i3/i5/i7 processor from Intel couples to 4GB/ 8GB of DDR3L at 1600MHz SDRAM and packed with 128GB/256 SSD for optimizing system performance. A microSD card slot also available for optional memory expansion along with USB 3.0 port for charging and NFC technology with Intel HD graphics 4000, in addition.
The word 'Duo' senses for dual nature of tablet, where in the normal looking 11-inches touch screen tablet shows a convertible ability to a full-fledged notebook via a Surf slider with sliding hinges. The slider makes the screen sliding up revealing a built-in keyboard without having a trackpad, since user can perform normal tracking actions on screen using finger-touch, very easily.
