On September 05, 2012 Nokia has launched its first ever Windows Phone 8 operating system smartphones in the market in collaboration with world's leading OS manufacturer Microsoft. Earlier Nokia Lumia series smartphones cannot make a place in the hearts of high end mobile users. But this time Nokia and Microsoft are confident that the upcoming Nokia Lumia 920 Windows 8 smartphone and Nokia Lumia 820 Windows 8 smartphone will surely make a big fan club for them. The launch event was organised in New York city by Nokia and Microsoft officials. Nokia has not made any drastic changes to its speculated Nokia Lumia 920 Windows 8 smartphone.
After the launch of upcoming Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 Windows 8 phones by Nokia, the share price of Nokia has plunged down to 13 percent in the middle of launch function itself. The sliding of share price has come as an outcome by disliking of Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 by the experts. As announced previously by Nokia CEO Stephen Elop, Nokia has failed to come up with unique and mind blowing features in the launched Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 Windows 8 phones.
Also Nokia has confirmed that Nokia has not made any partnership with wireless service providers which added more worries among the experts. Prices of Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will be fixed according to the country it is being sold in. Till now Noia has not revealed any price and Windows 8 phones availability in the market.
As Samsung has launched th worlds first Windows 8 phone Samsung ATIV S Windows 8 smartphone last month, experts are believing that Samsung ATIV S Windows 8 smartphone may be available in the markets in next month itself. And it is also believed that Samsung will have an added advantage over Nokia when it comes to the Windows Phone 8 based smartphones. Also Samsung ATIV S Windows 8 phone has gained more popularity than the upcoming Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 Windows 8 phones. 
HTC is also about to launch its upcoming HTC Accord Windows 8 smartphone in the next week or so. So we have to wait till HTC comes up with its first Windows 8 smartphone to say anything on the whole Windows Phone 8 smartphone series. Many are expecting that Nokia may take advantage by Android recent legal issues with Apple.
