Cheapest Laptop in India: ACI Icon 1100 laptop
Allied Computers International (ACI) launched India's cheapest laptop ever. At Rs. 4,999 this laptop is priced at an unbelievably low price. This is truly a laptop of the masses, that is if this laptop can stand its weight and function properly.
I am not expecting to see any miracle but I would be highly disappointed if this laptop were not able to perform the basic capabilities with ease.
Well I am not a technical or hardware geek, so here is what I could understand about the cheapest laptop in India.

10.2 inch screen – Not bad right.
Display Resolution of ACI Icon 1100 laptop - 1024x768 pixels. To my limited knowledge, this is sounding really cool.
RAM or Random Access Memory – 512 MB
Disappointed, couldn't they have offered some more RAM? I know, you will say, "hey, what can you expect for Rs. 4,999", but I still reserve the right to whine a bit. 512 MB is not enough for me or my daughter. She plays games and I play around with SEO software and I know it is going to crash.
Here is a breather though; the RAM is expandable to 1 GB. I wonder how much extra money that would cost. Suddenly the world does seem a better place to be.

The storage memory is 4GB only, but here is the icing on the pie. It can be expanded to 32 GB. Now, suddenly the cheapest laptop in India doesn't sound so very cheap does it?

11 * 7.25 * 1 inches –Is this good or bad? Well, I guess I cannot watch my movies on it can I? But, who is complaining, this is a steal, its slick and economical.

ACI Icon 1100 laptop has 3G supports and Wi-Fi and uses USB dongle. It comes with a web cam and 3 USB ports. I am already doing the laptop dance. This is such a steal. Can you imagine, watching videos, might be a breeze after all.
Why is there always a catch?
India's cheapest laptop is available only in one color – white. I cannot believe it. How can they do this? We girls need to have a choice of colors at least.
This affordable laptop comes with a 12 year warranty which is great for someone like me. I am not so very careful with my laptops.

I am all out cheering for it and cannot wait to get one for myself. I personally believe at this incredibly, jaw dropping price, ACI Icon can be crowned as the most affordable laptop in India.
