Nokia launches new smartphones- Asha 311, Asha 305 and Asha 306
Nokia has recently launched three new touchscreen phones under its Asha series providing the touch screen experience to middle class users at cheap rates. Here we have provided the specifications and features of these new phones by Nokia.
Now –a-days Market is flooded with cheap touch screen mobile phones of various manufacturers.So, competition is really very much tough to survive at the market for long duration for various major and minor companies. So for competing others, Nokia has recently announced its three new Asha series phones namely Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311.Special Features of these Asha Series Phone Models
Though it is the time of Android Mobile phones that rules over the market but these three models of Nokia are based on Symbian's s40 platform. According to Nokia, these new Asha phones will provide smartphone like experience to its users. Mr Mary T. McDowell (Nokia's executive Vice President) said "By introducing these Asha touch phones to the market, we are accelerating our commitment to connect the next billion consumers." He further added that "these phones deliver on what young, urban people value most- a great- looking device, and an intuitive and affordable experience for connecting to the internet, to their friends and to a world of entertainment, web apps and content."
Features and Specifications of Nokia Asha 311
As mentioned above, Nokia Asha 311 is a S40 operating system based device which comes with 3-inches of capacitive multi touchscreen display. The device is powered by a 1GHz processor to run the phone smoothly and fastly.The phone has an internal memory of 256 MB and further supports upto 32GB as external memory via microSD memory card. The phone is also featured with a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera to enhance the experience of Photography to customers.
The device is also equipped with modern connectivity option such as Bluetooth 2.1, USB , EDGE, GPRS and 3G to access fast internet facility on the go. Nokia Asha 305 is also based on Symbian S40 operating system with dual sim compatibility. The device has 3-inches of WQVGA resistive touch screen display and is featured with 2 Mega Pixel Camera. The Nokia Asha 305 is preloaded with many applications like Nokia maps and social networks including Facebook and Twitter. The Nokia Asha 305 supports a BL-4U 1,110 mAh battery which provides 14 hours of talktime and 528 hours on standby mode.Features and Specifications of Nokia Asha 306
The Nokia Asha 306 is an average level phone with 3-inches WQVGA resistive touchscreen display. The device provides a 2 Mega Pixel of Camera to users and it is also featured with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and USB as connectivity option to its users. The device comes with a 1,100 mAh of battery which provides 14 hours of talktime and 560 hours on standby mode to its users.
Price of these Asha Series Phone Models
The price of Nokia Asha 311 is 92 Euro which is nearly Rs 6,300. The price of Nokia Asha 305 and Nokia Asha 306 is 63 Euro and 68 Euro respectively.
