Samsung Galaxy S III is currently available for pre order in India. You can do this through the official Samsung India eStore.
How to pre order Samsung Galaxy S3 in India
Follow these steps to pre order the Samsung Galaxy S3 in India:
Go to the official Samsung India eStore.
Click on the PRE-BOOK button to start the pre-booking process.
You will be taken to the pre order confirmation screen where it shows the price as Rs 2000. Please note that this Rs 2000 is not the price of the phone, instead, it is the advance booking price. The actual price of the Samsung Galaxy S III phone is expected to be about Rs 35,000. When the phone is really ready for purchase, you can redeem this Rs 2000 which you paid as part of advance booking.
You can pre order a maximum of 4 Samsung Galaxy S III phone at this time. I think Samsung has enforced this restriction to avoid massive reselling at higher prices through various channels like eBay.
After you proceed to pay in the eStore for your Samsung Galaxy S III phone, you will be prompted to login to your Samsung eStore account. In order to pre order Samsung Galaxy S III through the official eStore, you need an account with them. When you reach the payment page, you can see couple of options:
1. Pay by credit cards, debit cards, netbanking, cash cards, mobile pay and so on
2. Pay on EMIHow to buy Samsung Galaxy S III on EMI?
If you choose to pay on EMI, you can get the EMI option from various banks like Citibank, Axis Bank, Standard Chartered bank etc. If you cannot pay the high price for this Samsung Galaxy S3, you can avail the EMI option.
You can choose a 3 month option or 6 month option. If you choose the 3 month EMI, you have to pay Rs 667 per month. If you choose to go for 6 months option, then you end up paying Rs 333 per month. Looks like the 6 months option is Rs 2 cheaper (Rs 1998) and 3 month option is Rs 1 higher (Rs 2001) than the normal cost, when you look at the total price you pay during the duration.
Please note this EMI plan is just for the advance amount (Rs 2000) and not for the full price of the phone. When you actually pay for the full cost of the phone after pre booking, you may be able to avail another EMI for the same.
