Everyday we surf hundreds of web pages and many articles over the internet. But have you ever thought about "How to start a website?". If you havn't thought about the same till now, by reading this article you can easily create your own blogging website and you can earn a good amount of revenue through Ads from Google Adsense and other Ad providers.
See the major steps involved in developing and launching your own website: Register a Domain for your website.
If you don't know what the "Domain" is, then I would like to tell you that Domain is the URL of your website. Eg: www.techulator.com is the url or domain of our website.
To create a website, first step is to register a domain of your choice in any of domain name providing websites like Godaddy.com, Bigrock.com, Hostgator.com. Here is screen shot where you have to search for domain name at Bigrock.
When you go to any of Domain name registering websites, then search for your particular domain name, it may not be available if any person already registered it before you, in that case these websites will suggest you other available domain names, then go for that domain which is available to register. When your domain name becomes available then just register it by making an account into that domain name provider website and pay for the domain name through Debit cards, Credit Cards , Paypal or Net Banking. Here is the screen shot when your domain name is not available, as you enter to register an already registered domain name, and it will show not available in front of the domain name
.
If your domain name is available then, it will show available in front of it as shown in below image:
Buy Webhosting Account
Now if your domain is ready then the next step is to buy a webhosting plan. Many websites like www.000webhost.com also provide you webhosting free of cost but I will suggest you to buy a webhosting plan to be in safe side.A webhosting service provides you webspace to store all the data of your website at one place. You may choose any of the webhosting plans varying from unlimited plans to some MBs plans according to your need, from any of the webhosting providing websites. (But I will advice you to purchase webhosting from the same website from where you have purchased your domain name so that you don't find any problems in managing your domain name and webhosting account). If you are from India, then Bigrock is a good choice and if you are from USA or European Countries then you can opt from Godaddy to buy.
