Think you need to buy an Apple product just so you can use the übercool cloud feature known as iCloud. If you still haven't figured out or know what the 'cloud' here means, cloud computing is backing up or storing your data on a virtual hard drive on the internet which you can access from anytime, anywhere using just an internet connection and a supported device. So, have you already figured out what this does? Yep, it stores your data on a Dropbox server accessible using an Android or Apple iOS device and also on a Windows PC. The wide array of platforms and the plethora of formats you can store in their servers makes it a must have for everyone. And you can also share specific folders with your friends which is especially useful for that all important project work or just as simple as sharing some photos. And the best part, experience the cloud for free for all platforms. You get 2GB free storage space. So what are you waiting for, sail the cloud now (pun intended).Instagram

There is a good chance you might already know about Instagram. They have been recently acquired by Facebook for a cool whopping $1 billion. And its very recently come to Android handsets. Instagram brought image filters to mainstream popularity and everyone became an instant cool photographer. Since the time it launched for iOS, there has been a huge clamour to bring it to Android. And in just a week of its launch, there have been more than 6 million downloads for the same. The filters work like magic. Just put an everyday photograph, try a few filters and just see how they become masterstrokes and people will come running and telling what a photograph you just snapped up. While some might tell me that there are so many more applications that do the same or better, none do it as cool as Instagram or as nicely. And since its free, there is no reason why you should call it over hyped and not even give it a try. Alert: Once you use it, you may attain the tag of the cool snapper.
