Pingdom: Free tool to analyze your website performance, errors and SEO

Are you looking for free tools to help you improve the search engine ranking of your website and check performance bottolenecks? In this article, I will talk about a great free SEO tool called Pingdom which can be used to measure the performance of your website.

I was looking for some free tools to check the performance of this website to find out which elements take most time to load. I came across a nice tool called "Pingdom" which is a free service to check the loading time of all elements in any webpage. You can specify the URL of any webpage and it will analyze the loading time of the entire page as well as each element in the page. This include the Javascript files, pictures, stylesheets, images, flash objects, font files and so on.

When I ran the tool against this website (Techulator.com), the results was fabulous. It showed the time the browser takes to load each and every element in the page. I was surprised to see the time taken by some of the objects in the page which I never thought would be an overhead to use them.

Pingdom is a great free tool to check the loading time of all components in a page and optimize.

Pingdom showed me which elements are taking most time to load and I decided to remove some of them considering the time taken was not worth the value added by those elements.

The element that was taking the most time was doubleclick ad script. Unfortunately, I did not want to remove them because that is what bring the money on the table!
