How to install Windows 8 on Ubuntu 11.10

As we all know that Microsoft is going to release its Windows 8 Consumer preview on February 29 in World Wide Mobile conference which is going to be held in Barcelona. Few Months back, Microsoft released its Developer Preview version. One can easily download the Windows 8 Developers preview and you can install Windows 8 Developer preview from a USB Drive.

1) First and foremost thing is we have to wait till Microsoft keep the official link to download the Windows 8 Consumer Preview on its site.
2) It is highly suggested to download the Windows 8 Consumer Preview from the Official Microsoft website only.
3) Once after successful completion of downloading, save it in your local drives.
4) Now we have to install the Virtual box in Ubuntu 11.10
5) Open dash, type terminal and Open the terminal window.
6) In the terminal, type or copy-paste this code without double quotes."sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian oneiric contrib""
7) The above code will add the Virtual box repository to the source list.
8) Once it is added, we have to download the key. For this type the code or copy paste in the terminal "wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -"
9) Now update the list by typing "sudo apt-get update" in the terminal.
10) Once the list is updated, now we have to download and install the Virtual box.
11) To install the virtual box, type the following code "sudo apt-get install Virtualbox" in the terminal.
12) Once you typed the above code in the terminal, it will ask yo to install the Virtual box, type 'y' and wait to finish the download.
