Read my Penta T-Pad reviews to learn more about the T-Pad series tablets.

Indian telecome service provider BSNL and India based tablet manufacturer Pantel launched 3 low cost tablet computers for the Indian market through a strategic partnership to offer low cost, high quality computing devices for the Indian market. If you take a close look at all the models of the T-Pad tablets, you can see that one model is priced very low to compete with the world's cheapest tablet "Aakash" and their retail version "UbiSlate 7+". The other 2 models of the Penta T-Pad tablets are priced bit high but comes with all options fully loaded.

If you are looking for a tablet for your basic needs, the cheapest T-Pad tablet "Penta T-Pad IS701R" would work for you. It can serve you well for your daily browsing needs.

Penta T-Pad series tablet reviews

Penta T-Pad tablet reviews Currently, there are three models of the T-Pad series tablets:

Penta T-Pad IS701R (US$ 65)

Penta T-Pad WS704C (US$ 220)

Penta T-Pad WS802C (US$ 270)

The Penta T-Pad IS701R is priced at US$ 65, which is pretty low price in the tablet market. However, the other 2 models are priced pretty high for its configuration. Agreed, iPad costs much more and there are several other tablets including Windows tablets which cost US$ 1000 or so. But the T-Pad tablets are considered to be low cost tablets, which may not have the same quality like iPads and other high cost tablet devices. Please note that I have not received the review units of the Penta T-Pad tablets yet and this review is fully based on the available technical specification and various other factors.

Penta T-Pad tablets comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS

All three models of the Penta T-Pad tables comes preloaded with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, which gives it an advantage compared to the cheap Aakash tablet which comes with the old version of Android OS. Aakash tablet comes with Android 2.2.

With the Penta T-Pad tablets, you could download and install thousands of free apps from the Android App store. The higher end models of the T-Pads comes with plenty of memory to work on some advanced applications and have just enough to work with basic games. Obviously, ifyou are a hardcore gamer, these tablets are not the real gaming devices for you.

Overall, the Penta T-Pad tablets comes with features and technical specs that meet the expectations for its price range. The low cost model Penta T-Pad IS701R is definitely worth the money for the basic browsing needs for the beginners. Also, you could use it as your second tablet in places where you don't want your iPad to be used. For example, when I am working in my vegetable garden, I don't want my iPad to be with me since it could easily get dirty there. I have just placed an order for the Penta T-Pad tablets and you can expect some hands-on review of Penta T-Pad tablets from me pretty soon.
