Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia X2-02 - Price and Review

Nokia has launched two new dual SIM phones, Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia X2-02, that enables to swap the sim without removing the battery or switching off the phone at an affordable price. Both Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia X2-02 have similar features, but designed for different users. Nokia has not yet disclosed when these phones will be available in the stores. But Nokia Asha 200 will be available before Nokia X2-02 in India as Nokia Asha will be manufactured at Nokia's Chennai Plant. Nokia is also planning to launch Nokia Asha 300 in early January, but has not given any information regarding the release date. Their latest windows smartphones like Lumia 800 and 710 will be available in the mid of December. It is expected that they will provide more details on the release of Nokia Asha 200, 300 and Nokia X2-02 in India after the release of Nokia Lumia series.



As mentioned earlier, both Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia X2-02 are similar in features, but different in design. Nokia Asha 200 is targeting users who loves dual SIM phone with QWERTY keyboard while Nokia X2-02 targets Nokia fans that are looking for a reliable dual-SIM phone with advanced music features. Asha 200 has slight larger display screen (2.4 inch) to suit the QWERTY keyboard while X2-02 comes up with a 2.2 inch screen. Both phones are running on their S40 UI Plateform. Nokia has not given much importance for camera. Both phones have a 2 Mega Pixel camera. Nokia Asha 200 and X2-02 feature a lot for music. Special application is provided to download free music from Nokia Music Unlimited. They have an external memory microSD card slot with which the memory can be extended upto 32 GB. They also provide multiple SIM management option that allows the user to personalize up to 5 SIM cards. Also you can swap the second SIM card without removing the battery or switching off the phone. Nokia India MD Shivakumar said, "We constantly strive to offer our consumers the best technology suited to them through affordable and relevant innovations. Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia X2-02 will set new benchmarks in the mobile internet and music space in the Dual SIM category.''

Both Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia x2-02 are available at an affordable price tag. Nokia Asha 200 is priced at Rs 4,759 and Nokia X2-02 at Rs 4,163. But Nokia has not disclosed any information on the release date of these phones.
