How to connect to internet using mobile phone's Bluetooth
In this article, I am going to discuss about connecting internet using your mobile phone's Bluetooth. Detail procedure is mentioned in the article. If you don't have a USB cable, connecting to internet using Mobile's phone Bluetooth option will be very useful.
In this article, I will explain how to connect internet through Bluetooth option in your mobile phone and by connecting it your Desktop or Laptops Bluetooth. Operating system used here is Windows 7.
The procedure is same for all mobile devices to connect internet using Bluetooth, also same on all Windows operating system.
First of all you need a GPRS or 3G Mobile phone and you have to subscribe for a GPRS or 3G Internet connection.
If you are able to browse internet successfully in your mobile and you are conformed that you are able to browse all the sites in the mobile, follow the following procedure to connect to desktop or laptop.
BLUETOOTH PROCEDURE:
1)First switch on the Bluetooth of Mobile phone and Laptop or Desktop.
2)You can find a Bluetooth symbol at the bottom of the desktop (near volume and battery indicator)
3)Right click on it, select "Add a Device" or "Show Bluetooth Devices"
4)Now, it will start searching for available devices.
5)It will search your device. Select your device and click next
6)Now, it will show you a pin. Enter the same pin in your mobile phone.
7)In your mobile phone, it will ask "Start Remote Control" or "Connect to computer". Click on yes
8)Now your mobile is connected to the Laptop or Desktop.
9)At the bottom of the desktop, you will find a Bluetooth Icon.
10)Right click on it and select "Join a Personnel Area Network"
11)Now, you will find your mobile phone with its name.
12)Select the mobile phone, right click on it and select connect using "Access point".
Now with the help of Mobile phone's Bluetooth and your Laptop's Bluetooth you are connected to the Internet.
Go to your favorite browser and enjoy internet. Speed may depend on network availability and also depends on GPRS and 3G also.
Above process is tested with "Sony Ericsson Z550i" Mobile phone and with Acer Aspire one 532H Net book using Windows 7 operating system. Network provider is "Aircel".
After connecting using "Access point" it is throwing an exception saying "Contact System Admin"
