"System Clock Error" in Office 365


In this article, I discussed about "System Clock Error" in Office 365. This type of error occurs due to problem with setting of date, time and year. Probable cause for the error is discussed with resolution for it. If we follow the procedure mentioned in the article, "System Clock Error" can be rectified.

Error: "System Clock Error" in Office 365

Probable Cause: Activation of Office Professional Plus for Office 365 failed because of a problem with the computer system clock.

Resolution:
Set date, year, time and time zone correctly and reset license status.

Verify that the computer has the correct date, time and time zone set in Control Panel. If there are any misconfigurations, correct them and then restart the computer.

After restarting the computer, reset and re-provision the user's Office Subscription. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start and then in the Search field, type cmd.

Press ENTER.

At the command prompt, locate the OSAUI.exe file. The OSAUI.exe is located in:

64-bit Windows with 32-bit Office: %CommonProgramFiles(x86)%\microsoft shared\OFFICE14

32-bit Windows, or 64-bit Office with 64-bit Windows: %CommonProgramFiles%\microsoft shared\OFFICE14

Type in OSAUI.exe /F. For example:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\OSAUI.exe /F
Press ENTER.

Enter the Microsoft Online Services ID and password.

If we follow the above procedure "System Clock Error" will be avoided.
