How to remove your name and mobile number from Truecaller?

Do you want to remove your name and number from Truecaller? But don't know how to do it. So, read this article to learn how to remove your details from Truecaller on Android.

You probably know how useful the Truecaller app is if you've used it before. You can filter the calls you want to pick up based on the caller's identity. It also alerts you to suspicious and spam calls, ensuring your security and saving you time at the same time. All of its users' address books are used to crowdsource contact information. Your name and number could be on Truecaller's database even if you haven't used the service, because someone else has saved your contact details and given it access.

Not everybody knows this, but Truecaller even lists the address of some fixed-line phones. Generally, it doesn't matter if telemarketers or spammers call from a company address, but you wouldn't want strangers to know your home address just because you called. Truecaller sources this information from the public domain. The reason for this is that anyone who knows your landline number can easily find your registered address through any publicly available phonebook (many telcos make this information available) or even by searching your landline number on Google. It is therefore recommended that you remove your number from the Truecaller database as a result.
