There are three ways you can organize the start menu, one, sticking with the default layout and the other two is choosing between how many pinned apps and recommendations you want to see. The only limitation is that you can't opt for showing only pinned apps and there will be at least one row of recommendations in the start menu.

Adding new tabs

The new update, 22H2, provides another handy feature for all Windows users, to add tabs to the file explorer. With this feature, there is no need to open separate windows for copying files to another location, you can do it by just clicking on the plus button. It opens another tab just like when we do that in a browser, and then we can do the file transfers with ease.

Multiple desktops

With multiple desktops, you can organize your activities by dividing them into different categories namely personal, work, and kids. This removes clutter and helps categorize the things you need to do. The options to navigate to different desktops can be seen by placing the cursor over the icon which is second next to the start menu, showing you the small preview of desktops, you are currently working on and the plus button to add a new one. This makes your workflow easy and helps you in organizing your tasks efficiently.

Focus sessions

Focus sessions help you to concentrate on your tasks without any kind of distractions. During focus sessions, you can decide how the system should behave, and if you want to be undisturbed during that time, you can tick the do not disturb box on the settings page, assisting you in being more productive. There are two other ways other than settings to open focus sessions, through the notification centre and the Clock app. If you have a Spotify account, you can also link it to the Clock app to enhance your time during focus sessions.
