Review of Leawo Music Recorder
This Music Recorder is available for both Mac and Windows computer. I am, however, using it on my Windows laptop.
You really don't need any help getting started with Leawo Music Recorder. All you need to do is press the big red record button when you want to start recording any song playing on any other application. The recording will start immediately and you have to be careful about pressing the stop recording button when the song is over. The only problem here is probably that you can't crop the audio after the recording is done to remove the unwanted portion. With that, it would have been a complete one-stop-shop for music recording.
The scheduler button is present in the lower section of the tool. What is opens is a window that is your Setting menu for this application. You can use the Scheduler to schedule the start time for recording and the duration for which you want to record the song. The General section lets you set the output directory where your recorded audio file will be stored. You can use the Format section to change the output file format from the default MP3 to WAV. You can also customize the bit rate and the sample rate.
Another useful section is the Control section which can help you record only the right audio. For example, it automatically splits the audio if there is a silence in the audio track for more than a preset time.
There are 2 tabs in the tool. Once you have complete recording the audio, you can switch to the Media tab to see your recorded songs. This section is your complete media player. Give a right-click and you will get further options to change the tags that have been stored for the audio or add the recorded song to a playlist. You can create new playlists to organize your recordings.
Wrap up
There are no second thoughts in my mind to suggest this tool as the first choice for your music recordings. And not just music, it can be a great productivity tool for both professionals and amateurs tasks. For a tool with such functionality, paying a price of $19.99/Year or $29.99/Lifetime sounds like a great deal. Except for the absence of cropping functionality, Leawo Music Recorder is a great application to have. You can find more details about Leawo Music Recorder here.
