Today we are reviewing some cool looking and durable cables by Ausmo. Read our review and see how good they are, what all they promise and what they actually deliver!
Cables are probably one of the most important yet neglected accessories of a smartphone. Even when we use these cables daily for charging our smartphones, we rarely give it much of a thought. It just stays there attached to your charger, occasionally connecting your smartphone to your computer as well. However, the health of your cable is as important as of your smartphone since a damaged cable can very well cause damage to the internal circuitry of your smartphone. So, it is very important that you are careful with the cables you use. If your original cable is damaged or you are looking for something better than the common cables, for example, a cable with higher current flow, go for a quality cable that is designed to provide not only high performance but is rugged enough to withstand the tough conditions it faces when you carry it in your travel.Ausmo Type C 3.1 Gen Cable Review
Cables from Ausmo promise to provide solutions to these problems. Ausmo manufacturers various varieties of rugged cables including Type C to USB type A cable, micro USB cable, fast charging iOS lightning cable and Type C to Type C 3.1 Cable. These are nylon braided cables that make these cables immune to most of the regular day damage and promise durability. The wiring of the cables is of thick solid copper which facilitates the faster flow of data and electricity making it ideal for turbocharging. Though we were not able to find its AWG value, it seems to be high enough to allow for the least interference and maximum signaling.
The USB Type C 3.1 cable I reviewed, is almost 6 feet in length, guaranteeing you that you won't have to worry about finding the right spot to place your smartphone while charging. Talking about the power it provides, the packaging clearly says the cable supporting 3 amp current flow which multiplied by a 5 volts voltage gives you 15 watts worth of power output. Since this is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 cable, it will support data transfer at up to 5Gbps.
The package comes with a warranty card with you can register online and activate your 12 months warranty. However, the product itself cannot be returned after being ordered. It is available at Amazon, Flipkart as well as on Ausmo's own website. It is worth checking out the pricing at the different marketplaces before buying.Wrap up
I found the cable to be highly sturdy, of a good length and very useful for dual use with both my smartphone as well as my Mac which has a C-port as well. While I did not notice any extra charging speed since it will primarily depend on the adaptor, Ausmo cable didn't reduce it either which was highly possible due to the 6 feet length of the able. If you are looking for a premium cable which is highly durable, is of a good length and can work with your high-end devices, Ausmo cables are sure not to disappoint you in that.
