360Visit - Create 360 Degree Walkthroughs

360visit isn't much popular in the market. It has just been launched with the Android version in the pipeline but today we will be reviewing its iTunes version. It has some amazing features so we'll be covering all of it. Basically, it's a complete review of 360visit app for iPhone. Just make sure you stick with us till the end.

Usability and Design

The time you install and open the app you'll get a beautiful intro about how to navigate different features and how to create your first tour. You can also skip it and can return to this brief introduction anytime by tapping on the app logo icon. But I'll recommend you to go through it for your convenience.

Once the main screen opens, you'll notice two different options, Featured Tours and Create Tour. At the top left icon, you get your profile settings. You can sign in or create your new Dermandar account from there.

I personally liked it as it is very easy to use. You don't need any technical skills to create your own 360 walkthroughs. Overall the whole app navigation is easy and the design with large two red buttons on the home screen looks good.

Create your First Tour

Basically, the whole walkthrough scene we're going to create is called a Tour. To start creating your first tour, click on that plus icon button called 'Create A Tour'. Here you can enter your location, you can just allow the app to access your location, it'll fill up your current location automatically.

Also, you can change the Tour Name or delete the tour by tapping on that edit button at the top right corner. Click on the Add a Panorama Button to start capturing your first Panorama of the tour.

It may ask you for camera permissions, that's just basic info, tap on the allow button to continue. So you have created your tour, it's time to capture the panorama.

How to Capture the Panorama

360visit app gives you a bunch of options to capture your panorama. You can select whether you are attaching a lens or not. You can also switch between VR Rotator and Handheld Mode. If you have a rotator, you can mount your phone and select the rotator mode and start it to capture the panorama.

But most of you won't have a rotator, so just begin with the handheld mode. Tap on the capture icon, to begin with, the process. At the top, you'll see Dragon Ball Z like icon. While rotating your phone just make sure those two balls get connected with each other.

See it's as simple, you don't have to look at your whole screen to see what your camera is capturing. Focus your mind on those two balls and rotate your phone slowly and steadily.

Try rotating your phone at the same place, it seems a bit difficult and you'll feel like you've moved far from the anchor. But after processing the app will fix all minor mistakes automatically. Then you can check how your first panorama is and if you aren't satisfied, try capturing again.

Link Panoramas to Create Walkthroughs

If you want to make a scene walkthrough, you can do so by capturing and linking panoramas. Hold on the screen and click on Capture Panorama to create another panorama. So if you're capturing your home, you can move inside a different room and capture another panorama there.

Once you finish capturing it, you can set the initial view direction as per the environment. Boom! Enjoy the results. You can also link your previously taken panoramas by holding on the screen and selecting the Add Existing Panorama option. Just make sure to set the initial view direction for each of your new panoramas.

Upload and Share your Tour

Once you've finished creating your whole tour you can share it with your friends. To access this feature, make sure you have created your account on the app. It's important because you're going to upload your tour own your account.

Just head over to your Tours Section and select your created tour. There at the bottom, you'll see an option to Upload Tour to the Cloud. It'll take a few seconds to upload, depending on your Internet Speed. Once it is uploaded you can share it publically to your family and friends.

Conclusion

360visit App is the perfect solution for all those who want to capture 360-degree pictures on their iPhone. I've seen a lot of other amazing 360 degree apps but when it comes to easier navigation and usability, 360visit is my recommendation for you all.
