3 Best Android tools of 2019

The one thing that we all love about Android is its limitless features and the choice to customize it thoroughly. In this article, you will find 3 amazing tools which will make you more productive.

Android is a highly customizable operating system from Google. You can literally customize almost anything on an Android device provided you have necessary system permissions (like root access, etc) and skillset. This makes Android far more superior to iPhones in the eyes of advanced smartphone enthusiasts.

So without further ado, let's get started:

1. Fluid navigation Gestures

Most Android smartphones have followed apple trend and gone with the notch design. This allows manufacturers to reduce the bottom chin of their smartphone and display navigation buttons on the screen.

This method although trendy at first soon turned out to be a caveat as these new navigation buttons consume some real screen area. Google and other Manufacturers realized this and started adopting the iPhones gesture navigations on the new Android Pie.

But they turned out not as good as the gesture mechanism of iPhones. So for all those users who want iPhones like gestures in their Android smartphone, Fluid Navigation Gestures is one of the best free apps on the Play Store that just works as the name suggest - fluidly and immersive as one might expect.

Fluid Navigation Gestures requires you to provide certain permissions which can only be done via ADB or root access. But during our tests, we were able to get it to work basic gestures like home, back, app previews etc without any permission requirements.

2. Macdroid

Next on the list is Macdroid - it is an app that lets you create macros and automate the hell out of your Android smartphone. This app is also one of my personal favorites. At bare bones, this app is exactly like that of Tasker app which is a well-known automation app but this one is better as it is completely free.

I use this app to automatically turn off mobile data and connect to WiFi when I'm home, disable all notifications while gaming and watching movies, open my preferred blue-light filtering app at a certain time etc. Macdroid has various conditional, triggers, etc which you can customize. It is almost the same as the new iPhone shortcuts app but provides more advanced options.

The only disadvantage is that the free version allows you to create only 5 macros. You can also buy the pro version to unlock all features and support the developer.

3. Smart kit 360

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel that your smartphone is getting overheated or your touch screen isn't working perfectly after years of rough usage?

The last app on this list serves this purpose. Smart kit 360 allows you get in-depth info from almost all sensors on your device. It is a must-have smartphone utility if you are an advanced smartphone user. You can check temperature, battery health, proximity sensor, gyroscope, magnetic sensor, accelerometer etc. with this app.

Smart kit 360 also comes with a bundle of daily use tools like calculator, notepad, translator, dictionary, heart rate, QR code scanner etc. You can replace 40 different apps with this one single 5MB app.
