We have definitely come a lot way ahead than the time when our Android smartphones used to store most of our data locally and there was not much concept of automatic restore and back on Android data. Slowly, however, Google started taking care of this problem by making use of their cloud storage service - Google Drive - to backup Android data online and restore that whenever we sign in with the same Google account on any other Android smartphone. Coolmuster Android Assistant does a complete Android smartphone backup and for this, it needs to connect with the smartphone is USB debugging mode. If you don't know what that means, don't worry, as soon as you connect your smartphone with your computer Coolmuster Android Assistant helps you enable USB debugging by showing you the extract steps.
Once you have enabled USB Debugging mode, the PC software will detect your phone and will go ahead with the installation of the Coolmuster Android app on your smartphone. As soon as the installation of the app is complete on your smartphone, you can see the details of the device on your computer screen.
It also has the option of connecting your smartphone through Wifi if you computer and smartphone are connected to the same Wifi by using QR code scanning. However, for some reason it didn't work for us. While in the center you can see your smartphone details, on the left sidebar you can see the different things that you can back up from your Android smartphone. It takes some time for the count to initialize on each of the items in the sidebar and it is expected when your internal memory is as large as 32GB and the SD further of a few tens of GB.
Click on any of the items in the sidebar and it will show you the individual files for that. If you click on Camera it will show you the images in the camera folder of your smartphone and clicking on the Library will show you all your image folders like the Whatsapp folders, Screenshot as well as the Camera folder.
Similarly, you can open Contacts and see the individual contact detail. You can even add or delete new contacts right from your computer. The tool allows you to export your contacts in multiple formats like CSV, VCF, Outlook and more. VCF format is supported by all major handsets as the default format for contacts import and CSV format will allow you to view the contact details in your computer spreadsheet software.

Android full backup using Coolmuster Android Assistant is basically using all the options of backup we had in the UI left sidebar and creating one folder of that. You can use this to keep a backup of all your phone data on your smartphone for safekeeping. You don't have to select any format of the contacts, just select whatever you want to backup (for example you can exclude apps back up to save space), give a location where the files will be stored and click on the Back-Up button.
The backup time will depend on the number of files you have to be backed up. For instance, in my case, the most time was taken by the Music folder which is expected considering that the average file size is 3MB.Other highlights and uses
