How to delete Android Activity from Google MyActivity Timeline?

How to view your Android Activity on Google?


Your activity is saved in the form of individual elements. They can be bundled into a group according to the service that generated that data or based on the date.
You can view your Google Account history easily by following the simple steps as explained here -
  • Launch Settings app on your Android and go to Google and then Google Account

  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timeline and tap on My Activity
  • You should now be able to find your activity listed in the order of the date and time. Make sure that "Android" is select in the Product name.

You can change the appearance based on how you want to view the acitivities on your screen. Tap on the three dots at the top and choose either Item View or Bundle View. You can also find the details of the bundle by tapping on More and then on Details.

Delete All Activity


Well, the steps involved again will be similar to the ones you used to view the Activity.
  • Follow the initial steps to reach up to Data and Personalisation as in the above example.
  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timelineand tap on My Activity.
  • Tap on the three dots at the top right corner.
  • Choose Delete Activity By
  • Under Delete by Date choose All Time
  • Click on Delete

That does it. You have successfully deleted the entire activity on your Android.

Delete individual Activity


If you do not want to delete the entire Google Activity on your Android, you can consider deleting only that activity you no longer want to be available on the Google Activity.
Here are the steps you can follow -
  • Access Settings app on your Android.
  • Go to Google and then Google Account
  • Locate Data and Personalisation at the top and select it.
  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timeline and tap on My Activity

You can repeat the procedure for multiple items.

Delete the activity by date


The procedure is exactly the same as you would use for deleting all activity. The only difference would be to choose a date that you would want to delete the activity for.
  • Access Settings app on your Android.
  • Go to Google and then Google Account
  • Locate Data and Personalisation at the top and select it.
  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timeline and tap on My Activity
  • Tap on the three dots at the top right corner.
  • Choose Delete Activity By
  • Under Delete by date, choose the date range and enter the specific date under both of the start and dates

That does it. Your activity on that particular date is deleted.

Delete the activity over a range of date


If you have gone through the above steps for deleting the activity for a particular date, it should be practical to delete the activity for a range of date.
  • Access Settings app on your Android.
  • Go to Google and then Google Account
  • Locate Data and Personalisation at the top and select it.
  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timeline and tap on My Activity
  • Tap on the three dots at the top right corner.
  • Choose Delete Activity By
  • Under Delete by date, choose the range for the dates you want to delete the activity for.

That does it. You have successfully deleted the the Google Activity on your Android for a particular date range.

Delete the activity by group


Here are the steps you can use to delete the activity by group on your Android device.
  • Access Settings app on your Android.
  • Go to Google and then Google Account
  • Locate Data and Personalisation at the top and select it.
  • Scroll down to find Activity and Timeline and tap on My Activity
  • Tap on the three dots and choose the Bundle View if it is not chosen.
