Is it safe to use AirDroid?

The developer team at AirDroid deserves a pat on their back for addressing one of the major security concerns. The app initially had a security vulnerability that allowed hackers to hijack the connection if you are on the same WiFi network. The team noticed it, closed the vulnerability and upgraded the encryption.
So, you can safely use your AirDroid app to mirror notifications from your phone to the desktop. Of course, you can also use the tool to a seamless file transfer functionality as well.

The Concluding Thoughts

AirDroid initially had a presence on the cloud and thus offered a web portal based functionality. Now, it has come out of age and has introduced the desktop functionality as well. The notification mirroring functionality that we are interested in works seamlessly, but is a little laggy compared to the other options available. We would just hope to find the developers coming up with a faster notification alerts.
We checked with two other apps in the genre and found the other apps displaying the notification mirrors earlier than AirDroid. However, the other functionalities that it offers can be a saving grace for the tool.
