Are you wondering how to record videos for your YouTube channel? Have you been trying to record snippets of your favourite shows online and upload them to YouTube, but without great success? It can be difficult to find a good desktop recording software to help do this.

There are either several free and poor quality tools available or prohibitively expensive ones. It is also possible to use some video players that we commonly use to record clips of movies or capture streaming videos online. How to Record Videos for YouTube with iSkysoft iTube Studio

Step 1: Install and Run iSkysoft iTube Studio

iTube Studio is available for both Windows and Mac platforms. When you have installed the program on your system, it will automatically add a 'Download' button to the web browsers that you use. This is the button you can use to quickly and easily record videos from websites where the download is usually not possible.

Step 2: "Download" or Record the Video of Your Choice

This step will show you how to record a video for YouTube. There are three ways you can download videos from streaming websites.

Navigate to the 'Download' button at the top right corner of your browser. Click on it and select the quality from the drop-down menu. This will download the video into your computer via the software.
Copy the URL of the video and paste it in the software. The download will automatically begin.
Quickly drag and drop the video URL from your browser to iSkysoft iTube Studio to start the download.

You can download your video from a large number of popular websites, including international and regional sites. The video that you downloaded in this step is now stored on your system. You can access it from the iSkysoft application itself. You can then select it and convert it to a format that is compatible with YouTube.

Step 3: Convert the video after download

iSkysoft makes it very easy to convert the video. You can do the conversion from the "Downloaded" tab. On the iTube Studio application, find the "Downloaded" tab. Here you will find all the videos that you have recorded off websites. Each video in the folder will have a "Convert" command next to it. Click on "Convert" next to the video of your choice, and choose the file format you want from the Video category. Finally, click on 'OK' to let the conversion begin.

Step 4: Edit Videos After Conversion

Before you upload to YouTube, you can edit the converted videos in popular video editing software like iMovie and Final Cut Pro. These editing tools will help you personalize the recorded video and add your finishing touches to make a masterpiece. The edited video can now be uploaded to YouTube to be shared with the rest of the world.

Step 5: Upload video to YouTube

After the previous step, the converted and edited video file will be stored on your computer. In order to upload a video from iTube Studio to YouTube, navigate to the YouTube website on your web browser. Log in to your YouTube account (which is also your Google account).

After logging in, you will find an "Upload" option next to the search bar at the top of your YouTube screen. Hit on "Upload". In the next screen, you will be asked for the location where all your iTube Studio downloads have been saved. Choose the video you want to upload. Wait for the upload to be completed while you edit details and preferences. Finally, you can Publish the video to let it go online.

When you use iSkysoft iTube Studio to upload your videos, you can avoid many of the errors that come with uploading videos on YouTube, such as the "We did not recognize the video format for this file, but we will go ahead and try processing it anyway" error, or the "invalid file format" error.
