These are the days where everything we do is managed by mobile apps. There are apps for managing your finances, to take care of your messaging needs and what not. Now comes the turn of the app that lets you manage your relationships. Sounds weird? Well, Touch'd is an app that aims at making your relationships last longer. Keep reading this article to know more.

The world today and whatever we today revolves around mobile apps. You have apps for each of your tasks which make your life easy. You now have an app to take care of your relationships. It scans your contacts and determines when you contacted someone. The latest addition to the list of the apps that help you out with the tasks is Touch'd. Let us find how this app helps you in maintaining and taking care of your relationships.

What is Touch'd?

Well, Touch'd is a Relationship Manager. It is a CRM based personal mobile assistant. It lets you know when was the last time you called anyone.

As stated above, Touch'd is meant to improve your relationship status with any of your close relatives, or even customers. It analyses your relationship status with a contact and determines the Relationship Health based on the interaction between you and the contact.

The app is available on Android. The iOS version is in the works and will be available soon.

How does it work?

Touch'd works by monitoring the interactions you have with your contacts over social and professional/personal channels, calls, messages and other details of your interaction.

On signing up with the service, you are asked to add contacts from phone to your Inner Circle. The Inner Circle refers to the people who mean the most to you. You can either view the contacts so added in a grid, or if the contacts are more - you may choose to view them as a list.

Once the contacts are set up and included in the inner circle, the app will seek to access your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Touch'd needs to access this information to monitor your social media interactions. Once you grant access for the same, the app will begin managing your relationships. Keep using the app for a couple of days and it will learn your calling patterns. Once Touch'd gathers data on your relationships, it will begin working its way to managing your relationships.

All of us have a couple of contacts that we call almost everyday. Still some contacts are such that we call them at least once a week. The app will send you notifications to contact someone whom you have not contacted over a few days. The best part of the app is it learns the calling patterns you have with most of your contacts - either personal or professional.

Apart from reminding you to call your nearest contacts, there are other functions as well. You can set reminders to call someone from within the app. It does record all your interactions with your contacts on all channels. For instance, if you send a message to someone on WhatsApp - Touch'd will record it. If you called someone, the app will immediately record the interaction. The app uses all this data to chart out the Health of your relationship with your contact. Each contact will have individual charts and graphs. It will give you a clear understanding of how many times you contacted each other and who starts the conversation.

There is a catch, though. Privacy can be at risk here.

Are there any concerns?

Well, yes. Since the app manages your relationships, it truly has access to quite a heavy lot of your personal data. Having to share all this information with a third party app can be something you may be worried about.

The app is really useful, but is it worth to share your personal data to the extent you have to with the app? Well, if you just need to remember whom to call, you can use a standard reminder app for the purpose. You will not get access to the kind of functionality that Touch'd provides you. If you do not have that huge "Inner Circle", you may not need this app. But for those who feel it tough to remember when to contact friends, relatives and customers, Touch'd would really be much helpful.

And finally....

Well, Touch'd is a great app that lets you keep in touch with your contacts. It is a social personal assistant that learns from your interactions you have with your contacts. Go grab the app and improve your social life - recharge your relationships. The free version lets you have 25 contacts in your inner circle. If your close family of contacts exceeds that number, you may opt for the Pro version at Rs, 190 per month. Go grab the app and share your experiences.
