From filled in XL Utility Generate XML File.
Now on the income tax website go to Upload Return
Chose the ITR Form and Assessment Year (AY)
Browse XML file that you generated from XL utility.
Attach digital signature if you have
Attach and Upload the XML File to the Income Tax Department website.
Click Submit
If you do not have digital signature ITR-V will be generated which is a receipt of proof that you have submitted return. Download and Print this receipt, put signature in desired place and send to Income Tax Department CPC, Post Box No.1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore 560100, Karnataka.
The last date for submission of ITR-V at Bangalore Office is within 120 days from e-filing of income tax.
