My Name is Pankaj Gupta. I am from India, completed my B.Tech in 2010 with Computer Science and the one behind BD, WD & TPG. Now I am a full time SEO Blogger because I left my Job. I am into my second year of blogging. Currently I am maintaining three websites www.blogdefined.com , www.WeDost.Com & http://thepankajgupta.com ( A New Blog Dedicated to Affiliate Marketing).

Tell us about the beginning of your online journey?
I started my online journey on November 1, 2008. I was searching for some part time money making website and then I was very lucky to find a website which changed my online life completely. I found IndiaStudyChannel.Com(ISC) on that day. It was mid night when I created my account. I worked for continuous 3 months and then I received my first payment of Rs 1250. I had then worked for almost 1 and half year on that website in my spare time, earned Rs 5000+ in total and then used this money to start my first website www.wedost.com and then used the earnings from wedost to start my other blogs and so on. I would like to thank Mr. Tony (Creator of ISC) and one of my friend Syed Rizwan,met him online, helped me in registering my domain name & web hosting using his Credit Card. At that time, we were just in touch through GTalk. Due to the Trust of Rizwan in Me, I blindly trust everyone online from that day. Now, we both are close friend.
Do you manage your websites by yourself?
Yes. Currently I am managing my websites but looking to expand my work in future.
How many hours you spend online?
As I am a full time blogger so I spend most of the time online usually 10 hours a day.
Tell us about the present statistics for your website?
At present, my websites (combined) is getting thousands of unique visitors per day on an average.
Do you think online business is easier in comparison to offline business?
Doing Business is never easy. Both offline and online business require same amount of effort & hard work. But for me, Online Business is easy (but risky) because I have no idea about offline business.
Have you tried affiliate marketing?

If you had not been blogging than what else you had been doing?
May be a 9 - 6 job in a software company.
What qualities are needed in your opinion to succeed online?
Trust yourself. Be Honest & dedicate yourself to the work you are doing.
What are the blogs that you follow except your own?
Mainly Mashable.com(Source of my inspiration). Apart from this, I play with Google search results.
What advice will you give to other budding bloggers?
If you have decided to achieve something online with blogging then I am sure you will. Just set your goals. Give them deadline. Complete your goal before the deadline (Don't worry! You will automatically do it before the time, once you have started working on a predefined goal). Repeat the process again for the next goal. This is what I do and I hope, this will be useful for other bloggers.
