Two dots

As the name implies, this is a dot game. You basically just join dots of the same color to earn points and advance to higher levels. Simple right? Not so fast. The game is packed with layers of adventure and missions that will see you playing for hours on end.

Game play and plot.

You are two dots going on vacation through levels each representing an age (like space age) or seasons (winter, summer and lot). You are presented with colorful dots and you have to meet an ordered requirement to pass to the next level, for example you may be asked to deliver 40 red dots, 40 blue and 40 green. In a limited number of moves, like 30.

You reach levels where you are required to drop anchors by clearing dots beneath them and as if that's not hard enough you have to race against a raging fire eating up dots and even anchors, still with limited moves. Hectic.
Two dots
In ice games you are expected to break ice cubes by clearing dots in them three times. This lot of requirements makes this more than just a fun colorful dot joining game. You actually need to input some thought into your moves else you will get stuck on a level for days. Weeks even.

Pros

  1. The name - as usual, we love simple names and ones that say something about the game. This one does both in just two words, "Two Dots". Given that it takes two dots to get points and the plot is two dots traveling across plains and seasons, that's genius.

  2. It is colorful, each new level introduces new colors into the canvas and we love color. This however just makes it harder because the more color the less long combinations possible.

  3. It's a good thing the game automatically shuffles dots when you run out of combinations. You can also buy the ability to shuffle cards to better your odds of completing cryptic levels.

  4. You can play this game for free. Everyday you are given a boost to use just in case you have hit a brick wall - of dots.

  5. You can compare your progress and score for each level with your Facebook friends. We love competition and this mix makes the game something you can't wait to play each day.

  6. Playing with earphones can be the most soothing experience between you and your phone. The music is really good.

Cons

  1. It gets so hard the only way to progress is to purchase something for a minimum of $2.99, a boost crate filled with fire extinguishers in fire levels, color paint to change all dots to the same color and make squares and bombs and lots more.

  2. It seems never ending. We eventually need to finish all levels and reserve brag rights among our Facebook friends, but each time we finished a world, a new one came along. Hectic.
