Snapdeal provides a time period of 7 days to refund or replace products if it is delivered in bad or any other unfavorable condition, with ease. All return/refund of Snapdeal are held firm by TrustPay.

TrustPay Payment Processor


TrustPay is a branch of SWIFT international payment processor. Most of us must be aware of SWIFT which is famous for its secure online payment processing. TrustPay offers a secure environment while making any payment online. All payments on TrustPay are completed as it involves internal transfers which saves money, time and reduces risk.

TrustPay with Snapdeal


Snapdeal also uses TrustPay as their payment processor. You can buy products from Snapdeal using multiple payment methods which are as follows

(i.) Debit and Credit Cards (EMI options available only on Credit Cards)
(ii.) Net Banking from all Banks
(iii.) Cash on Delivery
(iv.) E-Gift Voucher

TrustPay holds every payment done to buy a product on Snapdeal and doesn't release it till the customer is fully satisfied with the product and doesn't files any refund or replacement request for it. Snapdeal claims to dispatch products within 3 days and if they fail to do it then as usual, you will get your money back. All payments are on hold by TrustPay till 1 week of delivery which are only released if you don't ask for a return.

Condition on which TrustPay refunds


TrustPay only refunds money on certain conditions which satisfies almost every buyer and seller since 2010. Those conditions are as follows

(i.) If you don't receive your order within 3-4 Days of Dispatch.
(ii.) If you received a faulty product. (Torn, Broken, etc.)
(iii.) Specification of the product differs as shown by the seller.
(iv.) If you ordered any clothing or accessory and it doesn't fit you.

Procedure/Method to Apply for Refund


Return procedure of Snapdeal is much faster when compared to other sites. There are just 4 easy steps.

(i.) If you want to request for a return you can do it by signing in your Snapdeal account. After opening the page you will see your product which you ordered with a 'delivered' label on it. You will find return button at the bottom of your order you can simply click on it and go with the flow.
(ii.) You have to pack your product as it was before, with the invoice.
(iii.) After 3-4 days, a courier person will come to the address provided by you while filing return request. Hand it over to him and wait for 1-2 days till it will be sent back to the seller.
(iv.) If everything goes fine, then you will receive a mail about the refund or you can demand for a replace too.

If your product value is under Rs. 1,000 then you will get refund via Snapdeal Cash (also known as SD Cash) which can be used for buying any another product on the site but if your product is of more than Rs.1,000 then you can get an option of taking refund through Bank Transfer too. You will get an email about this and will be prompted of these options. You can select the option with which you are comfortable.

My Experience with Snapdeal


I ordered a T-shirt for myself, on Snapdeal, but it didn't satisfy me so I raised a return request and next day, a courier boy was at my door. Within 2 days I got a mail about my refund and my money was refunded back to me as Snapdeal cash and I used it to buy a Pendrive.

I approach your good self with a humble request that I have requested to return this above mentioned product [Order id-9460769656] on 30-10-2015 and today's date is 07-12-2015 - almost 37 working days - gone but till now no one has come for pick up of my product. The supervisor also says same words but yet no result for my refund. By this way only 37 days already gone. I want to say that your refund process is very bad, worst and poor. Now I am going give this case to higher authority, in our High Court against Snapdeal. I cancelled an item due to very long dispatch and before that it was wrong item received, So I request for refund back to my credit card. Order cancelled and refund request accepted on 10th Oct, 2016.
Refund estimated date is 16 Oct, 2016.
Now I will update here that on which date snapdeal or trust pay will refund me in my account. It will be milestone for me to continue shopping on snapdeal. If they pay before estimated date, I will surely recommend others and give good reviews of Snapdeal.
I have bought many things previously, I had no problems with them at-least in service.
anyways I can say snapdeal customer care was really good. I hope my hope will be remain intact with online shopping.
