Review of LG Bluetooth wireless speaker (Model NP1540)
I have been looking for a wireless speaker for my laptop and the LG wireless speakers came to my hand in the right time. Read this review to learn how I'm using this bluetooth speakers last few days and how we all like it.
I came across the LG NP1540 bluetooth speakers in the LG Tech Show 2015 in Delhi. I fell in love with it on the first sight itself! The only confusion was whether to go for the black one or white one.
These cute portable speakers come in two choices:
NP1540W - Elegant white
NP1540B - Black beauty
I got the white one, which goes well with my white ASUS laptop. Kids haven't given any rest to this new gadget on the day I got it home:-)
I've been using Logitech USB speakers till then, which too worked pretty well. The only problem with it was the mess it creates on my computer table. It has several wires going around, which includes the USB cable to the computer, the cable that goes from one speaker to the other and the audio cable.
The LG NP1540 solves all these problems for me. There are no wires and cables lying anywhere. I don't need to carry the speakers with me when I move around with the laptop in the house. The NP1540 works on Bluetooth and works perfectly well as long as the laptop and speakers are within about 30 feet range.
An auxiliary input is also available for hard-wiring nearly any sound sources like DVD players, MP 3 players etc.
NOTE: Even though this bluetooth speaker works wirelessly, you still need to connect a USB cable to charge it. The USB cable can be removed when the built-in battery is charged.
Sound performance
The sound quality is not comparable with my Onkyo Home theatre system at home but for a bluetooth speaker in its price range, LG NP1540 is definitely have great sound quality. Also, it produces pretty loud sound, good enough to play your favourite videos or songs from the laptop and smart devices. When I purchased the laptop, I had to compromise on the sound quality for performance but I always regretted that decision every time I had to play a song or watch a video. The built-in speakers in my laptop produces very weak sound and it was hard to use the speakers for voice chat. That's how I ended up buying the Logitech speakers, which is now replaced with LG NP1540W.Pairing speakers for stereo effect
LG NP1540 allows pairing two units to produce stereo sounds. There is a sliding button on the back, which allows you to play as a mono-speaker or configure it as the left or right speaker of a stereo system. I have only one unit and so couldn't try the stereo system myself. 
The back of the this speaker has the button for stereo option, micro USB input for charging and the option for auxiliary input.Specifications

If you are looking for a portable, wireless speaker, LG NP1540W is a good choice. Some of the important aspects that make it a good buy, in my opinion, are:
1. Very good build quality and elegant design
2. Premium sound quality for its small size and price range.
3. Pairing 2 devices for stereo sound effect
4. Supported by LG quality and service (I never had to call LG for any service on gadgets like this but I am extremely pleased with their services on home appliances).
